| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Shae Lake. Pamela was wonderful and shared tons of information on hiking trails and the surrounding area, and even kept us updated about where to avoid due to hunting (we were there in October when the hunting season begins). The cottage was very well appointed and extremely clean; there really wasn't anything were were left wanting. There are two living rooms and multiple decks, so if you wanted some quiet time it was easy to find. The beds were very comfortable and there was lots of extra bedding and blankets, if needed; and lots of wood, kindling and paper for bonfires. The lake was lovely and the views beautiful; with a great dock and raft. My dog loved that he could easily access the water and we had some great local hikes with him. I think he's still exhausted. I would not hesitate to rent again and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

| Nestled in a mature pine forest, overlooking sparkling Shea Lake, this luxurious cottage has it all for the sporty family, for special reunions, or for girl getaways. Thoroughly enjoyed the private space, jumping off the dock, star-gazing by the campfire, lounging in outdoor hot tub, and preparing meals in fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Clean as a whistle, comfy beds, lovely linens in resort-like setting. Bring your favourite book and relax!

| We had an idyllic winter getaway. The setting is so quiet and peaceful that we could hear the wind in the trees. The stars and the moon were exceptionally bright, away from urban lights. The afternoon sun coming in the wall of windows was gorgeous. We had a challenging walk around the lake, relaxed in the hot tub, and watched movies with the e-fireplace warming us. Pretty much perfect. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

| An oasis We had an effortless weekend of relaxation and nature time. Both the cottage and its setting suited us perfectly. The cottage itself had everything we needed, and of excellent quality and comfort. It's immaculate! The trails nearby were ideal for snowshoeing and the tall trees surrounding the property helped us feel like we had truly found a forest retreat. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend among nature and comfort loving friends. Thank you to our attentive and generous hosts!

Owner response: We are so pleased that you made your way to Cottage on Shea Lake for the weekend and discovered the trails nearby and enjoyed the setting. The tall white and red pine do make for a beautiful natural setting. It is great for the soul. I will let our amazing cleaner, Cathy, know how much you appreciate the cleanliness of the cottage. We take pride in that. We want it to be a home away from home with all the comforts. We look forward to your next stay. | |
