| Our recent cottage stay was the perfect end-of-summer family escape. We relished our access to the peddle boat and stand-up paddleboards and the sheer luxury of the hot tub with a bottle of wine. One evening, under a starlit sky, we gathered around the fire pit, singing old tunes, and watched an approaching lightning storm. It was magic. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and brimming with thoughtful touches. Our family plans to return with our dog to experience the winter version with x-country skiing, fires and hot tubs. Thank you again.

| A slice of paradise! If you want a very quiet, relaxing vacation then this is the place for you. The cottage was immaculate. The beds and linen were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need ie. many spices, sugar, coffee, tea, ice cubes, tupperware, tin foil?. Everything and anything you need. Shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, bug spray, bug zappers. The owners thought of EVERYTHING! Lots of games, firewood, paddle boards, canoe, kayaks, books, candles. Seriously the best owners. Thank you Pam for really going above and beyond for our family. The pie and wine were so appreciated too. You won't be disappointed. The lake is pretty small, but the water was fairly warm and we enjoyed the floating swimming platform. Can't forget the hut tub!!! Even when the hydro went out during a massive storm, Pam was over very quickly with bags of ice and a portable charger. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Owner response: Thank you so Christine and Budd for such a wonderful review! It was so great hosting you at Cottage on Shea Lake from Simcoe Lake :) So pleased that you enjoyed your stay. It is the little things in life that makes it special hence we decided to provide the little extras so that our guests can focus on spending time together in our 'slide of paradise' lake front property on Shea Lake. This lake is close to our hearts -- it was named after my great great grandfather -- and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do. And nothing better than a comfortable bed while on vacation! We hope to see you again. | |

| Booked this cottage for a 4 day getaway with my young adult children in June 2023. The lake setting was truly majestic with a wonderful dock for lounging, reading a book and sharing great conversations. The cottage was exquisitely quaint, cozy and spacious. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. From the moment we arrived, enjoyed second including the home made apple pie left in the fridge. Highly recommend, has everything and more you would expect in cottage/lake retreat. Pam provided so much detail in what to bring and expect.
