Vous recherchez une expérience de chalet au bord du lac remplie de nature? Ne cherchez pas plus loin. Cottage on Shea Lake est un chalet nouvellement construit de 1 700 pieds carrés au bord du lac à une heure au nord d'Ottawa, près de Kazabazua, au Québec. Les clients préférés sont les familles et les adultes matures à la recherche d'une escapade tranquille dans un cadre rempli de nature. Construite sur deux niveaux, les fenêtres de la cathédrale sont orientées sud-ouest pour une belle vue apaisante sur le lac depuis la colline sur laquelle il se trouve. La propriété est entourée de majestueux pins blancs et rouges et des collines et plaines de la vallée de la Gatineau située dans une magnifique baie. Avec seulement 65 chalets sur le lac, les propriétaires et les locataires viennent au lac Shea pour une escapade tranquille. Le chalet dispose de quatre chambres pouvant accueillir huit personnes; bain à remous toute l'année pouvant accueillir quatre adultes; Internet; un salon supérieur et inférieur avec deux téléviseurs (l'un est un téléviseur intelligent pour regarder Netflix, Prime, Crave, etc.) avec lecteurs DVD-Blue Ray; deux salles de bain complètes; table à manger pour huit; appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, y compris un lave-vaisselle; cuisine entièrement équipée; laveuse et sécheuse; sèche-cheveux; shampooing, revitalisant, gel douche; draps et serviettes de bain fournis; bibliothèque de chalet avec livres, jeux, puzzles, films DVD; et de nombreux autres équipements pour rendre votre séjour agréable.
Il y a un foyer toute l'année (bois de chauffage fourni), un pont supérieur et inférieur avec des chaises Adirondack et un bain à remous sur le pont inférieur avec vue sur le lac. Au printemps, en été et en automne, disponible à l'usage exclusif des invités, il y a un canot, deux kayaks, deux planches à pagaie. En hiver, profitez de l'une des cinq séries de raquettes. Le fond du lac est constitué de sable avec un déclin modeste à moyen. Le quai de baignade ancré dans la baie est destiné à un usage commun par les clients de Cottage on Shea Lake et les autres propriétaires de chalets de la baie.
Il y a une abondance de sentiers sur les terres de la Couronne à partir de l'entrée de la propriété pour le vélo, la course, la randonnée pédestre, la raquette et le ski de fond. Plus de 1 200 acres de terres de la Couronne avec 40 km de sentiers. Cinq ensembles de raquettes sont disponibles pour les clients. Pour le ski alpin, la randonnée et le VTT, le Mont St Marie se trouve à vingt minutes en voiture. Réservez une partie de golf au Golf du Lac Sainte-Marie. Le Sentier transcanadien va d'Ottawa à Maniwaki avec un stationnement à la station Kazabazua sur la route 301, à quatre kilomètres de la propriété. Faites du vélo vers le sud jusqu'à Low ou vers le nord jusqu'à Messines sur des sentiers damés (ancienne voie ferrée) à travers des terres agricoles, des forêts et des marais. La rivière Gatineau est géniale pour les courses de canoë ou de kayak de Gracefield au lac Sainte-Marie, puis à Low. La route du lac Shea est également reliée au sentier de motoneige de 170 km de Shawville à Maniwaki.

La propriété est située sur un lac de taille moyenne qui offre une variété d'activités nautiques - toute l'année - et adjacente à 40 km + de sentiers sur les terres de la couronne pour le vélo, la randonnée, le ski de fond, la raquette. La propriété est à 30 minutes de nombreuses activités de plein air - golf, vélo de montagne, ski alpin, équitation et même traîneau à chiens. | Despite the less than summery weather and peak bugs we had a fabulous time at the Cottage on Shea! Absolutely well stocked with everything you need even for our pup who enjoyed having a spot to wade into the water.
The two floors would be great for a family or two couples to be together but have their own spaces. The lower deck and hot tub are so comfortable and the 5km route around the lake made for great runs to work off the baked goods from the local bakery (353...don't skip it!).
A short drive to Mt St Marie offered great hiking that even the dog loved. Blue Sea Lake was also a fabulous short trip.
Shea lake is the perfect size. Quiet but large enough for a solid paddle. Paddle boards, kayaks and canoe are all in great shape and there are Muskoka chairs a plenty for relaxing after.

| We truly had an amazing time at Shea lake's cottage?it was the perfect way to start our summer!
The cottage is more than just a cottage, it's a little hidden gem awaiting to greet you for your perfect getaway.
The cottage is very well equipped with everything and more?kitchen is very well stocked, lots of blankets, comfortable beds and extremely clean!
We were a total of 6 people and there was plenty of room for eating, lounging and sleeping.
We had so much fun on the lake, kayaking, lounging on the deck and then enjoying either the fire pit or the hot tub?definitely a perfect way to end the day!
I highly recommend this place and we can't wait to come back!

| We had an amazing time at Shea lake's cottage for our girls weekend! What a beautiful place to have a break. The cottage is really well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We were 7 ladies and had so much fun on the lake, paddle boarding, kayaking, and on the pédalo, or just relaxing on the deck. We also went for a cold swim and did some yoga and dancing on the terrace when the sun was out. The hot tub was fun, and getting cosy by the fire pit at night to finish the day was perfect. Pamela was very helpful and welcoming, and we loved the little goodies that were left for us upon our arrival. Thank you so much Pamela, we hope to come back again soon!

| We had such a wonderful family day weekend. We came with our three adult children (from different cities) and our adored dog which was a huge bonus, as we would not leave her behind. The home/cottage is so beautiful, with four full bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, two living areas, a hot tub, and magnificent view. Pamela was very helpful, and sent lots of wonderful information before and during our stay. I would without any reservation recommend this cottage on Shea Lake. We skied at Mt St. Marie and it was lovely, and had a walk around the area. There were even snow shoes available if snow was too deep. Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise- 5 star!!!! :)

| This beautiful cottage had everything needed for a fun and enjoyable time.
We had a multigenerational family winter vacation. The host Pamela and Andrew were amazing. We arrived to a warm cottage and were greeted with a bottle of wine and apple pie.
The beautiful cottage was also pet friendly and our dog so enjoyed running around the property and ice surface with us.
The cottage had a full stocked kitchen And everything was in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable. Loved that added throw blankets to curl up with on the couch and the designated ones for outside.
We all enjoyed the covered hot tub with easy access to the building, the firepit area was waiting for us with all firewood and supplies provided. We enjoyed a nice family lunch outdoors by the fire. In addition we cleared the ices and made a skating path that was a great hit for all and we made a small sliding hill for the grandchildren.
The view from the windows and deck are enjoyable and relaxing to watch the sun sets.
We have stayed in other rentals for our family winter getaway and this place by far has been the best. So do not hesitate and book this place for your next vacation.
