Welcome to The Good Cottage Lake View. Turkey Point is the perfect resort community for your summer vacation, and we are working very hard to be environmentally friendly and respect Mother Nature!
The cottage is located on the east end of Turkey Point on a very quiet residential street. Lake Erie (an incredible safe and lovely lake) is a ten second walk from your front door. You are steps from everything this lovely beach community has to offer including jet ski rentals, the main beach, amazing patios and restaurants.
Turkey Point has a marina, winery, micro-breweries, a golf course, zip line facilities and fantastic trails for walking or biking. There is a well stocked grocery story (with LCBO) minutes from the cottage where you can pick supplies.
From your large deck you have unobstructed views of the lake and it's 10 steps down the lane to your direct water access. At the waters edge there is a perfect spot to launch your kayaks and paddle boards or simply sit on the rocks, swim and enjoy the view. Please note we recommend you bring water shoes as the entrance into the water is a little precarious (especially for young children). Please note the main beach is about a 1 minute walk from the cottage.
This small but lovely cottage features 2 small bedrooms with queen size beds, a bathroom, outdoor shower, with an open living/dining/kitchen area. This cottage is really all about time spent on your lovely large deck, enjoying the beautiful lake views.
There is parking for one car only. No guests allowed.
Please note that we include linens/towels. Please bring your beach towels. we also include mattress covers, pillows, pillow cases, kitchen dish towels and dish cloths.
Important - we encourage you to please use the outdoor shower to bath as much as possible. The waste water system at the cottage is very sensitive and if you could work with us to minimize water usage we can all work together to help keep the biosphere intact and respect Mother Nature.

Turkey Point is located on the calm and safe shore of Lake Erie. There is a wonderful public beach 30 seconds from the cottage or you can swim off the rocks at the end of our lane. Lake Erie has amazing fishing and the water is very safe for swimming. Bring your boat and launch at the Turkey Point Marina or rent jet ski's and pontoon boats for a fun day on the water.
There are so many great things to do in Turkey Point! From The Good Cottage Lake View you are a 30 second walk to the main beach/strip where you will find jet ski rentals, pontoon boat rentals, great restaurants with patios and a lovely grocery store with an LCBO. Take advantage of the local wineries, breweries, zip lining, bird watching and bike/hiking trails. There is a marina at the west end of Turkey Point and lots of activities to enjoy!
