Leave the iThings behind and spend some quality time with family and friends! Early morning swims, bass fishing off the point, leisurely breakfasts on the deck, biking or hiking on the Trans Canada Trail, spectacular sunsets on the dock, star gazing, and flaming marshmallows by the fireside...it's all in a days work! Looking to rent (Sunday to Sunday, 7 nights) my waterfront cottage getaway to folks who appreciate the simpler pleasures in life and who will respect my cottage and the lake environment. About the cottage: Over 1 acre and 400 feet of private waterfront on peninsula, flat topography facing north-west with 2 docks and a raft. Easy to keep an eye on the kids from the cottage. Three bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double, and 2 twin beds - 6 people maximum), and 1 bathroom (shower, tub, sink, toilet). Fully equipped, cathedral ceilings, open concept living and dining room, comfortable, clean, and finished in pine throughout. Plenty of outdoor space for badminton or bocce ball. There is a barbeque, fire pit, picnic table and raft in addition to the two docks. Paddle boat, canoe, kayaks (2) (good bass fishing off point) life jackets, and various water toys included. About the lake: Lac Paquin is a small, private, quiet, spring fed lake with exceptional water transparency (25-30 feet) approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from centre-town Ottawa. Great for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, and canoeing.
