The River Ridge Suites

The River Ridge Suite is a peaceful detached 2nd floor guest home built on the banks of the River Clyde in New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island. The suite overlooks the river, while also being located directly across from New Glasgow Hills Golf Course, and within easy walking distance to The New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, The Island Preserve Company Cafe and Restaurant, and The Mill Restaurant. Feel free to have that extra glass of wine with dinner at these iconic restaurants and walk back to your suite! Only an 8 minute drive to Cavendish Beach and our National park, this central/North Shore suite will be the home base of your island experience.

A set of stairs leads you up to the unit - note for mobility. Please ask us about suitability in your booking request, as the unit is NOT CHILDPROOF.

Small dogs are only allowed on a CASE BY CASE basis, as our very small dogs are already nearby on the property. Dogs must be leashed when outside. Cats are not allowed due to allergy issues. Please describe your dog and their temperament when inquiring.

The unit has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a large custom shower, a washer and dryer, a large closet to hang clothing and store your luggage, and an open concept living room and kitchen with island and bar. The outdoor private balcony features a barbecue and seating area for you to enjoy. The property features several water-side seating stations for you to launch your kayak or canoe in the river, or simply to sit and enjoy peace and wildlife by the water, with your morning coffee

The suite is a fully independent, newer apartment that is used primarily as a rental property during summer months and has a winter tenant in the off season. It is equipped with high-speed internet, a living room TV with a Firestick, a small bedroom Smart TV, an open concept living, kitchen and dining area, and a larger bedroom and private ensuite with a walk-in closet, custom shower, and granite vanity. The ensuite includes a stacking washer/dryer combo. A private balcony overlooks the river.
