A lovely Muskoka designed cottage set on clean and clear Doe Lake in Katrine, ON. Doe Lake is known for its excellent fishing (attaching to 2 other lakes and the Magnetawan River). This 3 bedroom cottage is privately nestled in among birch and pine trees, 200 meters from the road. (Linens optional). The spacious and recently renovated kitchen/ living room is open to comfortably allow guests to enjoy their family/friend time together. The Muskoka family room is cozy and warm with the fireplace and many windows surrounding it. Janet's Place has a lovely front deck overlooking the lake where guests can enjoy quiet times and the most gorgeous sunsets. Out back is a secluded flat space to bbq, eat, and/or rest and enjoy. Big yard for games (horseshoes, badminton, yoga, can jam?) Feeling energetic? Gym equipment in the garage can be used by guests over 18 by reserving times, and the roads are fabulous for long or short bike rides. Several stairs down to the waterfront is a big floating dock awaiting your boat or swimming enjoyment. A canoe, paddleboard and kayak included. (Motor Boat rentals on the lake.) Doe Lake Park (1 km walk) offers a big beach volleyball court, basketball nets, sandy safe very shallow beach, sheltered picnic areas, Wednesday Sunset Yoga, and a boat launch. Almaguin (Katrine) golf course is only 2.5 km away!
