Welcome to The Riverside Oasis Cottage! Our family and couple friendly waterfront cottage is fully equipped with a kitchen and a 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The gently sloping yard and waterfront is very family friendly for swimming. We are pleased to offer 2 kayaks and a canoe with lifejackets to explore and enjoy the Ottawa River including numerous islands with beaches and our local bald eagle's nest. Pembroke is 20 minutes away with many activities and hiking trails.

Step outside to the sandy shores just in front of the cottage. Enjoy the sun, sea, and the calming rhythm of the waves.

Gather around our cozy fire pit in the evenings. It's the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starlit sky.
BBQ Grill:
Take advantage of our barbecue grill for a delightful outdoor cooking experience. Grill up your favorite meals while soaking in the coastal atmosphere. BBQ tools are provided for your convenience.

Wifi is available without restrictions; however, it's important to note that cellular service is limited in the vicinity. Smart TV with Netflix
Your rental comes with pillows, mattress covers, dishcloths/dish towels, and paper products for the kitchen and bathroom, along with hand and dish soap. Nevertheless, please remember to bring your own blankets, linens, and bath/beach towels.

Other things to note
The water on the property is non-potable. We kindly request that you bring your own water for drinking.
NO SMOKING of any kind is permitted inside the cottage.
Due to our septic system, we ask guests to be mindful of water usage during showers and toilet flushing. Shorter showers are appreciated, and adopting a "if it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down" mindset is extremely helpful.
Check-out is promptly at 11:00 AM. Our cleaning staff will be on-site to prepare for the next group.
We appreciate guests tidying up after themselves, including doing dishes, gathering garbage and recycling, stripping beds, and collecting towels. Please rinse and hang up life jackets to dry, stow away kayaks, and leave the cottage as you found it.
Please be respectful of neighbors; keep noise levels down after 10:00 PM. One security camera is located outside at the front door. Please do not touch or move them.
Other things to note - Safety:
When using canoes or kayaks, please wear life jackets.
While there are adventurous areas with rapids and whitewater nearby, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking the provided watercraft to these areas. The boat launch is conveniently located just 1 km away, offering limited docking at the cottage.
The waterfront is at your own risk; there is no lifeguard on duty. You are responsible for your safety and the safety of your guests. Supervise children on the property and in the water at all times.
