Welcome to our cozy, newly built chalet in the heart of the scenic Pontiac Region of Western Quebec—an area celebrated for its rich history, pristine rivers, and breathtaking landscapes.
Just 1.5 hours from Ottawa, our waterfront retreat is perfect for family getaways or weekends with friends, offering comfort, adventure, and relaxation in every season.
Spanning ~1,450 square feet, the chalet features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a brand-new hot tub, comfortably accommodating 6–8 guests.
The open design and wrap-around deck create the perfect balance of indoor comfort and outdoor living.
Outdoors, you'll find:
• A large riverside deck with BBQ, lounge furniture, and sweeping views
• A seasonal floating dock and stairs for swimming, paddling, or casting
a line (available May–October, water levels permitting)
• A fire pit area, ideal for cozy evenings under the stars
Nearby adventures include:
• A lazy float down the river from the nearby golf course
• World-class whitewater rafting, kayaking, and paddling routes
• The Cycloparc PPJ, a 91.7 km multi-use rail trail perfect for cycling, hiking, or leisurely strolls, complete with picnic spots, swimming access, and the iconic Félix Gabriel Marchand covered bridge.
• Golf enthusiasts will love the nearby courses, including Club de Golf Pontefract, Mickey Creek, and Island Brae, all with beautifully maintained fairways set against lush, green backdrops
In winter, enjoy skiing at Mont Chilly and snow-covered trails, while fall brings vibrant colors and crisp hikes along the river.
Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, our chalet is the perfect four-season escape.
We do not allow parties or events. For your safety and peace of mind, we have exterior security cameras at the side yard, front door, parking area, and shed. These are solely for security purposes and are not monitored during guest stays.
Other Details to note:
• We have a 6-person hot tub overlooking the river—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.
• Guests can also enjoy time on the water with our canoe and kayak. A small selection of life jackets is provided (2 adult, 1 adult kayak, and several children's sizes), but we recommend bringing your own for the best fit and comfort.
• Please note that our floating dock, river access stairs, canoe, and kayak are seasonal. They are typically installed in May/June and removed in October, depending on river water levels.
• For Summer 2026 (June 29 – August 31), we require 7-night minimum stays (Monday–Monday), as our cleaner is scheduled weekly on Mondays.
