A beautiful 4-season cottage for monthly rental (32+ days) in popular Lac Ste Marie, only 1 hour drive from downtown Ottawa.
The cottage is perfect for a family or 2 couples.
On the upper level you will find a modern fully equipped open-concept kitchen that shares space along side the living room and dining room... with almost wall to wall windows and sliding doors facing the lakeview. There are also 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom has a queen bed and doors opening toward the lakeview and 1 bedroom has a double bed), a large sized full bathroom (with shower and separate tub). Sheets are provided, and cottage is professionally cleaned between renters. Note that the upper level has a large wrap-around deck with a few different comfortable seating areas.
On the ground level you will find a 2nd cozy living room with a propane fireplace, a laundry room and a 2nd bathroom.
The property also has a bonfire pit for you to enjoy. (firewood available)
The cottage is a seven-minute drive to both the Mont Ste Marie golf course and Mont Ste Marie ski hill (with hiking and mountain bike trails).
In the summer, fishing and swimming is available directly from the shoreline. You can also enjoy 2 stand-up paddleboards, 1 kayak and 2 floating tubes. Bring your water toys and your lifejackets! If you have a boat, it can be launched up the road from the public dock and secured to the cottage dock when you're not out on the water!
In the winter you have direct access to the lake for ice fishing and skidoo-ing.
Please note: The rental price is all-inclusive (internet, hydro, propane and snowplowing) and is negotiable depending on the duration of the rental (ie. seasonal rate available).
