Beautiful holiday house located on the Ottawa River. Set on the Corbu Bay without water currents it feels like a lake (with the other shore a mile away). It is situated on a large private lot, just 25 minutes from Gatineau and 35 minutes from Ottawa. Best ice fishing in the area!
Close to Gatineau Park, Luskville Falls (only 10 mins drive), Quyon Ferry, many walking, biking and ATV trails just a short drive away and some within walking distance.
Nestled amongst mature oaks and only steps away from the waters' edge this cottage features all the amenities one could imagine. With over 200 feet of waterfront, the house has south exposure and is located on a bay with warm waters. If you enjoy fishing you won't have far to travel as this part of the river is full of Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Pickerel, Walleye, Pike and more.
The cottage provides guests with wonderful water views with great privacy. Perfect for that romantic getaway, a fishing adventure or a private family vacation.
Four bedrooms with three queen beds, one double bed and one twin bed. Large and bright living room with cathedral ceiling and direct access to a large terrace overlooking the water.
Two sitting rooms adjacent to the lower bedrooms give outdoor access to the water side. The screened sunroom is perfect for relaxing in the evening, while the huge backyard offers complete privacy complemented with a fire pit that will help with roasting marshmallows and building some memories.
Spacious kitchen has a fridge, stove, a microwave, and a double sink. It is fully equipped with all dishes, cutlery and utensils, pots and pans (including instant pot, slow cooker, baking sheets), toaster, drip coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker and a bar height counter.
The dining room table seats comfortable eight people overlooking the water. The open concept living room with reclining sofa and loveseat is a great space for reading, entertaining or relaxing. The cottage has a 55" Smart TV and DVD player. The TV is connected to the internet and allows you to log onto your favorites streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon, Apple, etc.).
Built for year-round accommodation this cottage has both central air conditioning and heating, as well as a wood fireplace in the main living area to make those winter stays extra cozy.
The oversized deck offers breathtaking views and have lots of seating and patio furniture. Guest can also enjoy kayaking (two kayaks included - seasonal), board games, movies, and much more.
You can also BBQ on the main deck overlooking the gorgeous Ottawa River and enjoy dining in natures finest!
You'll have full use of the cottage, inside and out.
High season bookings (June 15 to Labour Day) are subject to a 6-night minimum booking, with check-in on Fridays.
Off-season bookings require a minimum of two nights or three nights for the long weekends.
From December 15 to January 2, a minimum of 5-night stay is required.
Dogs are welcome, and an additional $100 fee is required. Some rules apply, so please let us know at the time of booking if you bring your four legged friends.
Please do not drive on the property - septic system, well and pipes are burried underground and do not support the weight of the vehicles.
Free Parking: three designated parking spots and three more parking spaces available along the the side of the road.
