Lac Bernard is a beautiful lake, with many bays and islands to explore, and only 40 mins from downtown Ottawa. The cottage is southern facing, with beautiful views taking advantage of the sun all day long. 2 bedroom log cottage with all the amenities as well as 1 bedroom bunkie. Modern fully equipped kitchen with lots of cupboards and counterspace and all the amenities including a dishwasher. A new large sunroom with four-track stacking screened windows opens up from the spacious living room. The cottage is oriented south, facing the lake with an unimpeded view of isle Machado. Outside is a large deck. Below are new, well maintained stairs to reach the lake, a boat shed, a platform for water toys, a boardwalk to a shaded seating platform and change hut. This leads to a large floating dock and a recently built floating swim dock. There is also a canoe, aluminum boat, several kayaks and a paddleboat. Cottage is equipped with high speed fibre optic internet and smartTV, ensuring you're well connected for work or play. Enjoy the sunsets and evening campfires overlooking the water. Great fishing (Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass) right off the dock, or out in the boat. Please note rentals in July and August are week long or more.
