Relax with the whole family at our waterfront cottage on Colpoys Bay (near Wiarton) which is part of the famously clear waters of Georgian Bay. We have renovated the cottage to honour the artist who lived here previously. Numerous upgrades to bedrooms, bathrooms, decks, and waterfront access. This is a perfect location to watch the sunrise.

Kayaks and paddle boards are available for use. The Bruce Trail is nearby for great hiking.

Includes amenities such as fridge, stove, propane fireplace, microwave, internet, guitar, television (with firestick) and laundry.

Outdoor space includes 4 decks and shoreline which allows for plenty of outdoor areas for socializing or finding a place to enjoy a book on your own.

Recently renovated bunkie with new flooring, shiplap on walls, electric fireplace, 8' ceilings, new windows, along with bunkbeds (double on bottom, single on top).

This has been our second Fall stay at Sanctuary Woods and I still cannot reccomend it enough!

The cottage is so beautiful and peaceful. There are so many things to do, but also so many places to relax!

Brian and Lisa are excellent communicators and make the whole process so delightful. You can tell that they really love and take pride in this sweet getaway they have created and fostered.

Just returned from an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The place is fully equipped with everything you could need, making it feel like a home away from home. The owners are incredibly responsive and quick to assist with anything. The view of the bay is absolutely mesmerizing. Sanctuary Wood is perfect for relaxation, contemplation, or enjoying active time outdoors.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. We arrived just after snow had blanketed the area and the views of the winter wonderland all around us were stunning! The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a restful and relaxing winter retreat. Our family enjoyed the wide selection of board games and puzzles (we discovered a couple of new games which we hope to add to our home collection). The coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar was a lovely treat and so was the welcome basket! Brian was very helpful and provided unparalleled customer service before, during and after our visit. Thank you Brian and Family for letting us stay and enjoy your beautiful cottage and we look forward to returning in the future.

We had a beautiful stay at this sweet, stunning cottage. Arrived in the evening just in time to relax at the waterfront and watch the moon rise over the bay. Location is perfect launching point for hikers and the Bruce Trail did not disappoint. A perfect autumn weekend getaway and a true 'sanctuary' for two weary souls.
