Relax with the whole family at our waterfront cottage on Colpoys Bay (near Wiarton) which is part of the famously clear waters of Georgian Bay. We have renovated the cottage to honour the artist who lived here previously. Numerous upgrades to bedrooms, bathrooms, decks, and waterfront access. This is a perfect location to watch the sunrise. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for use. The Bruce Trail is nearby for great hiking. Includes amenities such as fridge, stove, propane fireplace, microwave, internet, guitar, television (with firestick) and laundry. Outdoor space includes 4 decks and shoreline which allows for plenty of outdoor areas for socializing or finding a place to enjoy a book on your own. Recently renovated bunkie with new flooring, shiplap on walls, electric fireplace, 8' ceilings, new windows, along with bunkbeds (double on bottom, single on top). | Our second stay at Sanctuary Wood! We love this character-filled cottage, from the curved, high windows downstairs to the quirky, colourful stained-glass upstairs, it's a well-loved home, not just a rental. The kitchen is fully-equipped, the mattresses are super comfy and Lisa is a lovely, responsive host. This cottage is in a quiet, tree-filled neighbourhood with great swimming, kayaking, walking and an easy drive to all of the attractions of the Bruce. We will be back!

| Our family of 8 had a wonderful time staying at Sanctuary Wood. There was room for all of us with get together spaces as well as quiet tuck yourself away with a good book spaces. Waterfront was wonderful and we spent a couple nights down there watching the meteorite shower. Some blazing ones this year.

| Fantastic location for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake with crystal clear waters. The cottage had everything we needed. Check in was seamless Brian and Lisa were easy to deal with and even touch base throughout the week to ensure we were enjoying their cottage. We would definitely recommend the cottage and look forward to returning.

| Everything as described! Cozy. Gorgeous view in winter! Had a few issues and owners wanted to drive up right away to fix it. I did it and he took care of me very well.
Communication was instant and any issues resolved!!!

| My Family (2 grandchildren, 5 adults) had a wonderful time at Sanctuary Wood.
The cottage is well maintained and very spacious. My daughter and I did yoga on the desk Sunday morning, and my son-in-law found it the perfect spot for his afternoon exercise workout.
My 6-yr old grandson loved finding 'special 'rocks along the waterfront and painting them, while the 17-yr old really enjoyed the SUP and kayaks (we did too!).
The water in Colpoy's bay is crystal clear and while I found it cold, we did swim every day.
Brian was always helpful and responded quickly to my emails.
It was a great week!
