Welcome to The Bestview Lakehouse, a private waterfront retreat in Prince Edward County, just under 2 hours from Toronto. Set on 180 feet of secluded shoreline, this 3,000 sq ft home is made for relaxing, gathering, and summer living. Enjoy coffee on the wraparound deck, swim from the 40-ft dock, explore nearby wineries and Sandbanks, then unwind in the sauna or by one of two fireplaces. With 3 bedrooms, games room, and multiple spaces, it's ideal for families and friends.
The Bestview Lakehouse offers just over 3,000 sq ft of thoughtfully renovated waterfront living, designed for comfort, ease, and memorable time away together. With warm white oak flooring throughout and updated bathrooms, the home blends modern comfort with relaxed county charm.
Everything is set up so you can simply arrive and unwind. We provide all bed linens, duvets, pillows, bath and beach towels, plus essential kitchen staples including olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee. The home is supplied with clean, drinkable well water treated by a Culligan system.
The kitchen is fully stocked for shared meals, with quality cookware, utensils, bakeware, and a drip coffee maker. High-speed 1 Gbps fibre internet makes it easy to stay connected if needed.
Inside, the home is designed for gathering and downtime in equal measure. Enjoy two comfortable living spaces, a 55” smart TV with Chromecast, and two gas fireplaces—one on each level—for cozy evenings in.
The lower level is a guest favourite, featuring a Finn sauna, ping pong table, and walkout access to the lake. After a swim or day exploring PEC, unwind in the sauna and refresh in the brand new adjacent shower.
Sleeping arrangements are ideal for families and groups: a primary suite with king bed, a second bedroom with queen and trundle bed, and a bunk room with additional trundle—plus a high chair and pack 'n play for little ones.
Outside, private stairs lead to 188 feet of secluded shoreline and a large dock with gradual entry for swimming. Spend your days on the water, then gather around Muskoka chairs and a stone fire pit under the stars (firewood included).
The outdoor patio features comfortable seating and a Weber BBQ—perfect for long summer evenings with family and friends.
This is a fully equipped, turn-key waterfront escape designed to make your stay effortless from the moment you arrive.
Guests have full private access to the property, including the home, waterfront, dock, and outdoor spaces.
The driveway offers two dedicated parking spots, with additional space for maneuvering as needed.
Self check-in is simple and seamless using a Nest door lock and doorbell system, allowing you to arrive at your convenience.
For your stay, all other doors use manual locks—please ensure everything is secured when you head out exploring. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, and well established.
You'll be perfectly positioned at the gateway to Prince Edward County, with easy access to local favourites just a short drive away. Nearby, you'll find Fawn Over Market for prepared meals and essentials (including take-home pizzas), and Campbell's Orchard for fresh produce, baked goods, and seasonal family activities like fruit picking and wagon rides.
The Bay of Quinte is a hidden gem for water lovers and anglers alike, known for its excellent salmon, bass, trout, and walleye fishing. Guests are welcome to bring their own gear, and local bait shops nearby carry everything you might need. In the winter months, ice fishing shacks are available for rent within a short drive (third-party rentals).
For those who love being on the water, the bay is also ideal for paddleboarding and kayaking. The calm shoreline makes it easy to explore at your own pace—bring your own equipment or enjoy the gear provided during your stay.
