A two bedroom, one bathroom with a full size, fully equiped kitchen is perfect for two to four adult guests. This 800+ sq. ft. suite looks south out over the west arm of Kootenay Lake and the Purcell Mountains. Steps from the longest free ferry ride in the world, bus stop, grocery's, liquor agency, bakery and 2 pubs. Coming soon...electric car charging station at the ferry terminal. | This was our second weeklong stay at Bearfoot Beach House and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Annette is a fantastic host with a wealth of local knowledge. The pride she shows in her place and community is contagious.
The house has every amenity required to make your stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed spending our evenings sitting on her patio overlooking the lake watching the eagles flying, osprey fishing, ducks quacking and fish jumping.
We highly recommend this place and can't wait until our visit.

| We loved our month at Bearfoot Beach House. Annette is an incredible host. She has great energy, and has a wealth of local knowledge and contacts. The home is very comfortable and very well appointed. It's all you need and its setting on the beach is convenient for nice walks, bonfires and just relaxing watching the birds and the ferry. There's a lot to do in the area Balfour area and the Bearfoot Beach House is an ideal home base for all seasons.
We liked Annette and the Bearfoot Beach House so much we've booked it again for next year!

| We had a fabulous stay at the Bearfoot Beach House. Annette is a fantastic host who did everything to make our stay as convenient and pleasant as possible. The pictures of the house already look great, but the place is even nicer! You can expect a fully equipped rental home with an awesome view on the lake and a beautiful private sand beach just in front of the lovely patio. The gas grill invites for a yummy bbq. We would definitely like to stay here again.

| Bearfoot Beach House has everything you need for that perfect lake vacation. We enjoyed the beach and the lake access and views from our covered deck, that overlooks the beautiful Kootenay Lake. The kitchen has everything you needed and more. The place was bright and decorated perfect for the lake. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy, all the personal touches and ammenties of this rental just add to the awesome experience we had. The best part was the owner Annette! Not only did she have books and pamphlet about the Kootenay area and history for you to read. Annette herself has a wealth of information from different hikes, golf and local area sightseeing and attractions. Annette ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We loved that we could relax or be as busy as we wanted with being so close to the golf course, hot springs, Nelson, pubs and shopping. Within short walking distance we had a bakery, ice cream and a couple nice pubs. We enjoyed our stay so much, we will be coming back next year.
