Labour Day long weekend just became available!
This 4 bedroom year-round home is well appointed and comfortable for up to 10 people (6 adults maximum) and is ideally suited for two families to share with each family having their own floor with two bedrooms, one bathroom and sitting area. This is not the place for parties and loud noise - we are in a quiet community of mostly year round homes and families.
The gorgeous 8 person Jacuzzi Hot Tub is a great place to relax, soak and unwind!
The waterfront includes a large dock and beautiful sandy beach with gradual entry which is great for kids and adults! Lots of watercraft is included for your enjoyment including 5 adult kayaks, 1 child kayak, a canoe and one stand up paddle board. Adult lifejackets are provided. There is also a 14' aluminum boat with 6HP motor available for rent should you want to explore the river or nearby lakes and do some fishing (must show valid Boater's License). We are very close to lock 42 to cruise into Lake Couchiching or about 20 minutes by boat to Sparrow Lake.
There is a firepit (we provide lots of firewood) and plenty of outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy the views or make some s'mores by the fire. Firewood is kept dry inside the boathouse during the winter so you can still enjoy a campfire in the snow!
The cottage features a beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops and includes a dishwasher and a huge side by side fridge and freezer. Everything you need to prepare scrumptious meals is at your disposal and a propane BBQ is just outside on the large open deck. The dining room seats 10 people with the table extended and the outdoor patio tables can seat 8 or more. Bedrooms are well furnished with closets and storage space and comfortable new mattresses. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and view of the river with patio doors direct to the deck. Bathrooms are clean and modern and both include full functioning shower panel systems. The two lower level bedrooms are brand new in 2021 and feature a Queen bed in one room and a single over double bunk bed with a single trundle bed. Linens and bath towels are provided - please bring your own beach towels.
Bell Satellite TV is available, as is high speed internet service.
