This one-of-a-kind property is the perfect retreat for friends and family. With 3 floors of living space - Golden Pines Cottage Rental provides the optimal space for multiple families.
The cottage is made of western pine logs.
This cottage is perfect for those working while vacationing as it has STARLINK high-speed internet and a separate work area located in the loft.
Our 5 bedroom home can sleep a total of 10 people making it the perfect home for large families or corporate gatherings.
The main level has a large stone gas fireplace, an open kitchen concept with an island, and a large dining room with a huge table. The living area has a walkout to the large wrap-around deck with views of Lake Huron. The BBQ is located under cover on this deck. There is a queen bedroom with a portable AC unit, and an ensuite bath with tub and shower. A small 2-piece bath and laundry room is also available.
The ground level is the perfect recreation area with couches and tables as well as a walkout to the shoreline. There are 2 bedrooms located on the lower floor - with queen beds. One of the queen rooms has a single bed. A 3-piece bathroom (shower only) is shared with these rooms.
The upper loft level has 2 large bedrooms - one with 2 double beds, the other with 2 queen beds. Both have portable AC units. There is a sitting area to look out over the gorgeous shoreline and you can watch the sunset from here! A desk and chair are available for those who need to check in with work while at the cottage!
The rocky shoreline is beautiful in its ruggedness. The waters are warm and perfect for kayaking and canoeing. There is a public boat launch approx 2 km away.
Located on the Bruce Peninsula - there are several Nature Reserves and 2 National Parks to discover. The Bruce Trail is located a short drive from the cottage.
Lion's Head is a 10-minute drive away. There is a Foodland's, LCBO, several restaurants, hardware store, churches, hospital, marina, shopping, and a wonderful sandy public beach.

We are a family cottage and rent to a max of 6 adults. We have a 0 party policy and enforce local regulations regarding noise and occupancy.
