This is a stunning Custom built Estate lot with a large Cottage and a Detached Games room and sleeping loft. You will be taken away at the beauty of the Cottage. It is the perfect location for a large family, get together, or even a work retreat. It can sleep at least 16 people pretty comfortable with plenty of sitting room in its open concept design. If it's larger groups then just know that the 16 sleeping is doubling up in queen beds. Includes a Fully equipped Gourmet kitchen with 2 Ovens, two fridges and dishwasher. If you enjoy the outdoors, the sounds of birds and frogs then look no further. Large 40Ft front screened in Deck is wonderful to sit and enjoy the sounds. The side Deck is large and open, with access to the above ground pool and screened in Hot tub room. The main Cottage has two bedrooms with queen-size beds and a large loft with 2 futons and another queen-size bed. There are two bathrooms on the main level. One powder room and a second spa-like luxurious bathroom that includes large soaker/ jet tub, stand up shower, and a beautiful sauna. Nestled on an oversized lot, there is plenty of parking in the circular driveway with a park in the middle...The kids will love it! If campfires are your thing, a large fire pit and Enclosed Gazebo with plenty of wood is included. The second building is another hit with the kids. The main level includes a pool table and a dartboard. Upstairs in this building offers its own little getaway. Furnished living area with pull out couch and electric fireplace. The two bedrooms are designed to host plenty of people. The first bedroom has a queen-size plus a set of custom made double bunk beds. The Second bedroom is simply another set double bunk beds. The lot is waterfront, but very weedy and shallow, so it is not for swimming. There is a public boat launch close by if you want to launch your boat. We built this cottage as a family getaway and have hosted plenty of large 20+ people events. It is only an hour from Ottawa and is as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer. All furnishing and bedding are high-end and new. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a real slice of heaven in the wild.
If you have a low sodium diet, please bring your own water. Our water is drinkable though.

*** For Winter use...we are very close to the snowmobile trail, and White Lake has plenty of trails and great winter fishing as well. We are also half an hour from Mount Pakenham and 40 minutes from Calabogie Peaks. If you have any questions we are constantly finding new things that are happening in our area and available.

| Having previously rented at this amazing cottage, I was so excited to book again for our group's Long Weekend getaway. Such a well equipped, cozy and welcoming cottage! Shawn and Janel were quick to respond when we hit some 'hiccups' with the wild weather that blew through the area. However, given their love and care for this place we were never without a thing! We had power (via the generator) despite the massive power outages. They had a handy booklet which gave clear instructions on what to do in such a situation and were very responsive when I had questions or concerns. Our entire group adored this cottage and enjoyed all the amazing amenities that were available. What could've been a 'nightmare' of a weekend certainly was saved by the thoughtfulness put in to making this cottage feel just like home, and the responsiveness and care from Shawn and Janel. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend getaway - can't wait to come back!

| Had a wonderful week here at the cottage for our honeymoon! If you bring a kayak or canoe, make sure it's for shallow waters as it's off a creek. However due to being off a creek, it's quieter and you get to enjoy the nature sounds more. We brought our bikes which we used almost daily. Since it's on a dead end road, traffic was almost none existent and peaceful. There was everything we were looking for, and then some from this place. Rest, Relaxation but with things to do to keep us entertained where we were. Only downside we had was the lack of coasters & we didnt want to mark up the wood. Thank you for a wonderful week, hope we are able to come back again some time

| Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at Jackalope. The kids spent most of their time in the pool and hot tub, playing pool and air hockey and Shawn even gave up the go ahead to chop wood ( the kids wanted desperately to try this). The beds are super comfy. The cottage is spacious and fully appointed. We loved the screened in porch and fire pit area ? it was just perfect . I would comment on the owners response time but we literally had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway because the owners have thought of everything. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful property with us .

| Our group stayed at Jackalope Lodge 22-25 Feb 21. This property is everything and more than what is described. It is very well appointed and extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The extras such as hot-tub and sauna were very much appreciated and utilized. The enclosed outdoor fire pit was very cozy and a real hit with our group. There was plenty of quality fire wood for it as well as for the woodstoves in both the main lodge and bunkhouse. The kitchen had everything we required including modern appliances and plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils and dinnerware. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of linen. The only minor drawback of the property is that the bunkhouse does not have a bathroom; perhaps a small porta-potty or portable chemical toilet toilet could be made available in the future. Shawn and Janel were excellent hosts and are to be commended for sharing such a beautiful property to the public. We are definitely looking forward to returning to Jackalope Lodge in the future.
