| This large and beautiful cottage hosted me and 6 friends for a weeklong stay. We were extremely happy with what was provided in terms of amenities, such as the hottub, pool, sauna, screened in balcony, and screened in firepit gazebo. The screened-in features made a world of difference since the cottage is very close to the water and there was a thriving bug population during our stay. There's some obvious wear and tear around the cottage that doesn't detract from the stay but is important to be mindful of (pool noodles around the lip of the pool). Our biggest issue was the waterfront itself, given its more marshy than a lake we ended up swimming only in the pool, but that's not the fault of the owners. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we will definitely consider it for our 2026 vacation plans.

| Having previously rented at this amazing cottage, I was so excited to book again for our group's Long Weekend getaway. Such a well equipped, cozy and welcoming cottage! Shawn and Janel were quick to respond when we hit some 'hiccups' with the wild weather that blew through the area. However, given their love and care for this place we were never without a thing! We had power (via the generator) despite the massive power outages. They had a handy booklet which gave clear instructions on what to do in such a situation and were very responsive when I had questions or concerns. Our entire group adored this cottage and enjoyed all the amazing amenities that were available. What could've been a 'nightmare' of a weekend certainly was saved by the thoughtfulness put in to making this cottage feel just like home, and the responsiveness and care from Shawn and Janel. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend getaway - can't wait to come back!

| Had a wonderful week here at the cottage for our honeymoon! If you bring a kayak or canoe, make sure it's for shallow waters as it's off a creek. However due to being off a creek, it's quieter and you get to enjoy the nature sounds more. We brought our bikes which we used almost daily. Since it's on a dead end road, traffic was almost none existent and peaceful. There was everything we were looking for, and then some from this place. Rest, Relaxation but with things to do to keep us entertained where we were. Only downside we had was the lack of coasters & we didnt want to mark up the wood. Thank you for a wonderful week, hope we are able to come back again some time

| Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at Jackalope. The kids spent most of their time in the pool and hot tub, playing pool and air hockey and Shawn even gave up the go ahead to chop wood ( the kids wanted desperately to try this). The beds are super comfy. The cottage is spacious and fully appointed. We loved the screened in porch and fire pit area it was just perfect . I would comment on the owners response time but we literally had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway because the owners have thought of everything. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful property with us .

| Our group stayed at Jackalope Lodge 22-25 Feb 21. This property is everything and more than what is described. It is very well appointed and extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The extras such as hot-tub and sauna were very much appreciated and utilized. The enclosed outdoor fire pit was very cozy and a real hit with our group. There was plenty of quality fire wood for it as well as for the woodstoves in both the main lodge and bunkhouse. The kitchen had everything we required including modern appliances and plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils and dinnerware. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of linen. The only minor drawback of the property is that the bunkhouse does not have a bathroom; perhaps a small porta-potty or portable chemical toilet toilet could be made available in the future. Shawn and Janel were excellent hosts and are to be commended for sharing such a beautiful property to the public. We are definitely looking forward to returning to Jackalope Lodge in the future.
