Looking for peace and quiet and some tranquility? This is it! Our cottage is located a short distance from Crows Neck beach. It's a long sandy stretch of beach that is perfect for a walk or just sitting and taking in the view.

We have many white sand beaches around Barrington Passage and Cape Sable Island, which is only a 20 min drive from the house - including Sand Hills Provincial park (near Villagedale) and The Hawk.

The following stores are located in Barrington Passage: No Frills, Sobey's, Shoppers Drug Mart, Tim Horton's, McDonald's, NSLC (Liquor & Beer Store) and great local restaurants that serve locally caught fish, crab, and lobster. If you feel that isn't enough, you can go to Yarmouth where they have everything you might need and more!

The cottage is located about 3 hours from Halifax and around an hour from Yarmouth (ferry from U.S.). Amenities are located in the nearby town of Barrington / Barrington Passage.

Please note that check in is after 3:00PM on Sunday and Check Out Anytime before 9:00 AM Following Sunday

We had another wonderful stay at Plover Place for 8 days around the May long weekend. (We also stayed for three weeks last summer.) The house has everything you need -- the kitchen, bathroom and living room (games/ DVDs/ books) are very well stocked. You can't beat the view of the lagoon backing on to the beach; so many birds and deer to watch. Crows Neck beach is our favourite in the area; we were there almost every day. The beach-y decor is charming and the outdoor furniture is a nice touch. When we had questions, we always received immediate replies. We'll be back :)

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage with our two young children. The cottage has been tastefully updated and decorated. It's very cozy, and was extremely clean. Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, and lovely views! Just a 5 minute walk down the road to Crows Neck Beach which is a stunning (and cold) beach with hardly anyone on it. Doug was easy to reach via text throughout our stay.

A beautiful cottage in a very peaceful area. The cottage is well stocked having everything you need. Very close to Crows neck beach so ended up taking two beach walks a day.
My favorite thing was hearing the ocean going to sleep. I will be back very soon. Many thanks to the hosts for sharing their lovely place.

2nd stay for us, good enough to come back. Nice isolated cottage with very close proximity to the pristine beach of Crow's Neck. Also close to a few sources of catch of the day (fish, lobster, crab). The cottage is well equipped for a lazy stay full of reading, cooking and beach walks.
