IMPORTANT: Please click web site link at bottom right for terms before filling out form on right. Thank you!

Built circa early 1900s, this charming and cozy cottage harkens back to when our fine nation was young! Peace and nature reign so all that can be heard are birds singing, wind rustling through the many trees and waves crashing below. In July and August the sound of children laughing adds to the palpable joy that pervades this tranquil community. A commanding view high atop Brockmere Cliff overlooks the majestic St. Lawrence River. Only foliage, water and New York State can be seen from the southern windows! Watch all manner of ships sail by while relaxing on the large screened porch.

Lillian And Lawrences Place is nestled in the heart of 30 Victorian era cottages that are beautifully maintained by proud owners. Many of the families have come here for generations. Borrow the supplied canoe (paddles and life jackets in entrance hall) and do some exploring/fishing too! There is a large community dock with clear water and ideal swimming conditions. When they return after the pandemic, the water trampoline and "wave mat" will be used for hours on end by your kids. There is even more for the kids to do with the supplied board games and Blu-ray player. There is an open bay in the TV stand where you can connect your own HDMI device like a game console.

L&LP is open from May to October (baseboard heaters in each room and fireplace is electric only) and conveniently located less than two minutes off the 401. Under 1 hour drive to Ottawa, Brockville, Mallorytown and Kingston. For more information such as a map and parking directions, please click on the Facebook page link at the bottom right on this page. A spacious four bedroom cottage in pristine condition with up to date furniture and fixtures. Immaculate!

Plus a wonderful view overlooking the St. Lawrence River with a bonus of watching the big Lakers ships pass every day.

We've already booked to return next year!

Lovely, historic and quaint cottage with amazing views of the St. Lawrence. The place is very clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. Proximity to nearby Brockville & Gananoque a bonus with beautiful architecture and a wide range of good choices for shopping and restaurants.

We just had a wonderful long weekend at Dave's cottage. Thanks a lot for Dave and Bob provide us this excellent cottage and prepare everything well before we arrival. The cottage is very clean and with everything what we need. The thing I would like to highlight is that the cottage is located in a quiet and beautiful village called Butternut Bay. We arrived in dark night, so did not realize the "breathtaking scenery" as mentioned by Dave. But in the next morning. we got it from anywhere such as beautiful sunrise from St. Lawrence River, colorful roof houses under maple tree, as well as the beautiful local hiking trail. Even we don't need drive out of the village, we get everything what we want for this get away long weekend. My friend found a fishing spot within 20 minutes drive and get a lot of bass. I look forward being back next summer to enjoy water activities. Finally, thanks Dave and Bob again, and wish you and your beloved all the best and stay well.

What a wonderful rustic home on the St Lawrence River. Absolutely beautiful. Communication with the owner was very quick and accommodating. The home includes Hi Def TV and very good wifi, which was important to us as my daughter and I were working remotely during our stay. The place also has an abundance of books and games, both indoor and outdoor. We will not hesitate to consider this property again next summer.
