| A group of 6 friends met up at the cottage for our annual fall meet up. I was responsible for finding a new place this year. This was the perfect place for all of us. The cottage is perfect. Lots of room and sitting areas, beds for everyone and the best amenities I've seen in 15 years of doing this. There is 2 fridges, dishwasher and even laundry facilities inside the cottage and full internet access and connectivity and no issues with cell signals. We had to bring nothing except our food.
On the outside, the water is beautiful, small lake and a nice trail to go for walks. BoniChoix grocery store witih 5 minute drive for forgotten items or refills. Fishing on shore was sporadic but we did manage to catch 10 or so catfish and a few bass. Nice big fire pit area. Lots of chairs for each area in the yard and lots of space to play outside.
Finally, Joni was a pleasure to work with and very organized and made it easy for us to plan and pay and the rental price was very reasonable for a place that could easily handle many more people than we had.
You can tell that this place is important to the owners and as such the place is kept clean and pristine and well maintained.
We had a great time and would recommend the place to friends and family without hesitation for a nice getaway and beautiful scenery!.
Thanks Joni for your hospitality!!

Owner response: Daniel, you are most welcome and you need to know that it was a pleasure hosting your group. The place was spotless when you left and your clear communications of the needs of the group in advance of the visit made it easy to provide accurate information. We hope that you and your guests will return for another visit. | |

| My family and I had a wonderful week staying at The Pines. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The lake is unique in its orientation and great for explorers, old and young with an added bonus of serenity, and an interesting waterfall. The hosts and staff were very accommodating, informative and easy to reach. Unfortunately, two power outages in the region affected the water supply, but we realise this is not in the control of the owners. Our suggestion to install a generator to deal with prolonged power outages was well-received by the owners. We would recommend this property and consider going back!

| Just a quick note to the owners that we absolutely loved the week we spent with 3 generations of our family in their lovely cottage. Nothing is missed or forgotten, just show up with your food and belonging and good to go. The property is so beautiful and tranquil, the younger ones loving the fishing and hunting for turtles etc. We would definitely book this property again. Again, a very big thank you from all of us.

| We were 3 families and 3 generations, and a small dog, and the accommodations were perfect. The cottage is fully equipped. The cottage is on a clean lake and is very private. There was some wildlife to entertain the youngsters and space for games on the open grounds. The Boyds were gracious hosts who gave us a tour before our rental period, which helped with our preparations.
