Families can enjoy a getaway at our lovely spacious historic pine four-season cottage on the water at Lac des Iles, Quebec. With 5.5 acres and more than 2400 square feet, there is plenty of room for all to enjoy in side and out. There is relative seclusion - of over 1000 feet of waterfront; accessibility to many activities and services. There is a ramp for those who have difficulty with stairs. Go back in history to the 40's but enjoy the convenience of a fully-equipped home with dishwasher. The screened-in porch provides additional seating to the living room and decks. In the summer, sip cold drinks on the large screened in porch or deck, use the canoes, paddle board, kayak or swim in the lake. Watch the Canada geese, beavers, ducks and heron. Fish on or canoe around the lake. Explore the waterfall on the property at the mouth of La Petite Riviere Rouge. In the fall and spring, enjoy the changing colours and the birds and wildlife. Hike at parc national Mont Tremblant (about 45 minutes away). The fireplace is warm and inviting and firewood is provided. In the winter, sit by a warm glowing fireplace, skate on the lake, or cross-country ski or snow shoe through the property of 5.5 acres. Alpine ski at Mont Tremblant (35 minutes to the mountain) or Mont Blanc (35 minutes to the ski hill). There is an extensive network of snowmobile trails near by. As of December, 2021 the Quebec governments is allowing six people from a maximum of two families that live in the same home to rent cottages. Special cleaning due to COVID-19 is in effect.
Note that the boat and motor are not included due to insurance reasons. The raft is not in place.

There is biking and tobogganing and a water park at Mont Tremblant and a network of snow mobile trails near Lac des Plages. Children will love Omega animal park about 15 minutes drive south towards Montebello. Some patrons have enjoyed dog sledding and motorcycling. TV is by satellite. The cottage has a narrow ramp with rails for those who have trouble walking and a bathroom and two bedrooms on the main floor. Note: This cottage is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Ottawa and about 2 hours from Montreal. Mont Tremblant or Mont Blanc ski resorts are about 40 minutes away. There is easy access from Hwy 323 and yet it is very private. AVAILABILITYLast update: June 28, 2022 |

| Just a quick note to the owners that we absolutely loved the week we spent with 3 generations of our family in their lovely cottage. Nothing is missed or forgotten, just show up with your food and belonging and good to go.
The property is so beautiful and tranquil, the younger ones loving the fishing and hunting for turtles etc.
We would definitely book this property again.

| We were 3 families and 3 generations, and a small dog, and the accommodations were perfect. The cottage is fully equipped.
The cottage is on a clean lake and is very private. There was some wildlife to entertain the youngsters and space for games on the open grounds.
The Boyds were gracious hosts who gave us a tour before our rental period, which helped with our preparations.

| Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans ce cottage. Il est très spacieux et bien équipé. Le lac est très près et la vue est magnifique. Il est bien situé, très peu de voisins ce qui fait que notre séjour a été calme et reposant. Nous avons adoré ! Je vous recommande de louer ce chalet, vous allez passer de bons moments entre amis ou en famille.

| We stayed here for a week with our family and had a great time. Beautiful private property with everything you need and excellent for families with small children. Waterfront was beautiful and the lake was excellent for kayaking and swimming. This is the second time we have stayed here and we would definitely recommend it!
