What a wonderful experience shared during Christmas. This cottage has everything, was spotless, and is even more impressive than the pictures especially the open concept and huge windows. The kids mastered hockey on the backyard rink which the owners made just for us!!!  We built Olaf the snowman and tobogganed on the front lawn and we will always remember cross-country skiing the lake from end to end.  Thank you Stacey for the privilege to visit your beautiful home.

Dear Lorne,

Winter is wonderful at Whispering Pines, and we were so grateful to bring smiles to your kids' holiday over Christmas! We love that you were able to enjoy the snow, the backyard hockey rink, and the tobaggan hill on the lawn. The lake freezes early and is incredible for walking and snow shoes and we are so impressed that you made it all the way across the lake in a few hours. Wow! Thank you for reaching out, and we are honoured that your whole family will be joining us again next winter. Wishing you a safe and healthy year ahead.

Sincerely,

Stacie at Whispering Pines Cottage

Our family had the best vacation this summer at Whispering Pines! Such a rare find ...very clean, spacious, great views, loved the kitchen, perfect layout with separate floor for the kids. Bass Lake is a hidden gem and much nicer than Simcoe...peaceful, calm, warm. We spent hours playing barefoot in the water without a sole around.
Ideal location, affordable rates, rules were very easy to follow, owners were exceptional communicators who welcomed and appreciated us. I miss the cottage already!

Dear Hailey and Family,

Thank you so much for joining us this past summer. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the large space inside the cottage and the views, and our calm barefoot friendly lake. You are right - the location is ideal as we are only 5 minutes from town with great restaurants, Costco, Walmart, Starbucks, and the beach! We welcome all of our guests as if they are our own family, and appreciate the opportunity to host wonderful groups like yours. We are grateful that you are joining many others who return to our home annually. Your well-deserved vacation in August 2021 is around the corner!

Sending warmest wishes,

Stacie at Whispering Pines Cottage

Our family was thrilled to be returning to Whispering Pines this past August. This was our third summer at the cottage and possibly our best stay yet. The lake was so warm and nice, so the kids loved jumping in the water and using all the floating toys and tubes. We ate outside for most meals, and enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake from the deck on the cottage. We also loved sitting on the dock most evenings in the Muskoka chairs watching the sunset. We explored some local places and enjoyed TudHope Park and Beach for the kids. We found the cottage to be very clean and the rooms were comfortable. We had a very relaxing and cosy stay. We now feel as though we have some great family memories at this cottage and hope to come back again!

Dear Nicole,

We are thrilled that you were able to join us for a third summer in a row! Bass Lake is unique, warm, and special, and our new Muskoka chairs were a real hit this summer! The waterpark and playground at Tudhope is great for young kids, and Couchiching Park beach is a treat. Both are minutes away, and our guests enjoy a little day trip. Your family is always so lovely, and we love hosting you. Thank you for allowing us to share our home. Stay safe, have a great winter, and we look forward to welcoming you back in a few months!

Sincerely,

Stacie at Whispering Pines Cottage

We first visited in August and fell in love. The cottage is stunning. Gorgeous finishings, immaculate inside, floor to ceiling windows, panoramic views of Bass Lake, very quiet, no neighbours on either side, and awesome swimming for young kids. Gourmet kitchen & bathrooms, lots of space for our large group on both levels with sleeping options & cozy plush beds.

Our whole family begged us to return over the holidays. Tobagging was a blast, went ice skating & took long walks on the lake. So peaceful, you could hear a pin drop. Loved skiing 15 minutes away at Horseshoe & Moonstone. Favourite memories: playing snooker & pool, watching the bunnies, building a huge snowman, beating our grandkids at Monopoly in front of the fireplace & Xmas eve feast with relatives from Sweden.

We are so grateful for a memorable Christmas in such a special home.

Dear Michelle and Family,

Thank you for visiting us in the summer and returning again over the Christmas vacation! We love hosting our international guests and hearing that you enjoyed such special family time. The peace and tranquility of our home is really unique, and everyone is amazed at how quiet and beautiful Bass Lake is. At times you feel like you are the only ones on the lake, and the city is a whole world away.

We feel lucky to share our cottage and its surroundings with our guests, and are proud that you enjoyed the true Canadian winter experience with skating, skiing, and the nearby hills on a toboggan. Please send us pictures with the giant snowman!
Wishing you all a safe travels, and hope you will be able to visit again soon.

Sincerely,

Stacie at Whispering Pines Cottage
