| Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this cottage just outside Orillia. While conveniently located, it's set in a beautiful, quiet area right on the lake, and less than 15 minutes from both Moonstone and Horseshoe Valley ski resorts. We visited during the winter and had a great time.
The cottage was easy to find, and the driveway wasn't steep, which was reassuring with winter weather. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The main floor has three bedrooms with comfortable beds, and the kids loved the bunk beds.
The living area was cozy, and the dining table looked out over the lake. Downstairs, there was a fourth bedroom and a great playroom with table tennis, foosball, and a pool table that kept everyone entertained.
The place was very clean, and the owner was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

| Whispering Pines was a perfect place for our family of 6 adults to reconnect and make more memories together. From the moment we walked in the door we were delighted. Thoughtfully designed (and very clean) interior featured a wall of windows overlooking the lake, a great open plan kitchen with modern appliances, lots of bedrooms with comfy beds and many spaces to sit together or in small groups or alone, inside or out in the shade or sunshine. The September weather was spectacular & we swam, paddled, fished every day. Sunsets on the dock & evenings at the campfire or playing boardgames. It was terrific. Close to Orillia for quick trips to get firewood or other essentials, and less than 2 hours drive from the GTA. We can't wait to return! Thanks Stacie for all your care & attention.

| We visited Whispering Pines over the winter break for a couples' getaway. It was unbelievable!! We had previously stayed at their other stunning lakehouse on a huge lot and our favourite guesthouse from the same gracious and kind hosts. Both cottages are a designers' dream, especially if you like to cook, BBQ or bake. The views are spectacular. Love the fact that the owners think of everything such as extra linens and towels so it made our packing very easy. The two levels gave us lots of room to roam around, and the downstairs games room was a bonus. We took long walks on the frozen lake, we saw young kids skating nearby and it was very peaceful. We enjoyed skiing at Moonstone and splurged at the Vetta spa nearby as the location is ideal. We are booked again for 2 weeks in July with our kids, can't wait to go back.

| To Whispering Pines Cottage,
We can't say enough great things about this cottage and the owners. This was our first time booking through the website Cottages in Canada. Dealing with Stacie, made the booking process seamless. She was extremely quick with replying to our emails and answering all of the questions we had regarding the cottage and our stay.
As far as the cottage goes, it was absolutely beautiful. Very well kept and clean and the outdoor space was great for everyone, including our two 15 month olds to play during the day.
The owners were very accommodating allowing us to check in early. We also experienced a personal delay prior to checking out and Stacie was very compassionate and understanding, quickly getting in touch with us offering for us to stay until we were able to get the matter sorted out. During that time we left one of our kids' toys at the cottage. Stacie went out of her way to make sure the toy was mailed home to us promptly.
We would highly recommend this cottage to friends and family to visit.

| We had an absolutely fabulous time! So many great things to remember! Everybody in our family found something to enjoy: swimming, cooking, playing pingpong, billiard, foosball table, watching movies with the whole family, enjoying the fireplace... And the list is still going on and on... We couldn't imagine a better vacation and still we got even more!
The cottage is very stylish and made with a great taste. Sunset is phenomenal. We couldn't believe we found such an amazing family retreat just about an hour away from our busy city. Absolutely looking forward to visiting this magical place again!
