Fall and winter 2025: Spend time curled up in front of a cozy fire lit cottage. It's a peaceful quiet escape from the day to day noise of the city. | We have been coming to this cottage for 13 years and are always happy to return. We are a multigenerational family, and this space provides us a place to gather from across the country. We were very pleased with the beach access and beach conditions. The value for money can't be beat. Frank has been the most accommodating host and we have appreciated his generosity over the past 13 years!!!!

| Our family came back to stay at this cottage again, but this time as a family of 4! There was so much to do for everyone. It is a great location. We loved that it's on a quiet street in a beautiful neighbourhood, across the street from public beach access. The entertainment room in the basement was a hit for everyone of all ages including parents, kids (5 and almost 2) and grandparents. Even on a rainy day it was so relaxing and cozy. The double fridges and hot tub are nice features too. We had some great adventures at near by spots such as Grand Bend beach, patios, mini golf Jurassic park, shopping, sunsets, bad apple brewery, dark horse winery and morning/evening walks. We definitely made some special memories here and look forward to returning.

| What a great place!! There was 13 of us, plenty of room. Hot tub, games room, children's toy room, covered deck, fire pit, and minutes from Grand Bend. Rain or shine can't get bored. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes (slow cooker, blender, plenty of pots and pans). Beds are comfortable, bathrooms well kept. Cozy and comfortable too. Price was excellent.

| My sister, her boyfriend and I stayed at Frankie's for 3 nights for her 35th birthday. The place was HUGE! Especially for three people. We had a lot of fun in the games rooms and really enjoyed the hot tub. Highly recommend! This place would be excellent for families with kids or family reunions. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the power went out (obviously out of everyone's control) but there was no back up generator. We had to go into town and get headlamps and ice for our food. Overall a great trip

Owner response: I'm glad you had a great time at the cottage. I think the cottage deserves 5 stars EVEN IF there is NO emergency generator on premise. I'm very proud of the fact that in our ever heating planet that the cottage is eco friendly and gets its electrical power from the SUN via roof mounted solar panels. There will never be a generator running on fossil fuels at any of my places. I feel bad that the power went out but sometimes it can create moments of fun and adventure too. Hope you had a chance to do something unexpected when the area experienced a blackout due to weather. To date my panels have produced over 100 million watts of electricity.. woohoo! | |
