Five bedrooms, four bathrooms and large principal rooms mean that there is plenty of room for everyone.

In the fall our sweeping long views of acres of magnificent fall colours will take your breath away.

In the winter you can enjoy show shoeing on the property, skiing at nearby Beaver Valley Ski Club or a 30 minute drive to Blue Mountain, dogsledding at a nearby farm, and cross country skiing on local trails. We also have great tobogganing hills on the property. And don't miss our local deer grazing in the field as you sip your morning coffee.

In the spring, take a hike on the nearby Bruce Trail in the trillium laden forest.

Summer activities include enjoying our trails on the property, hours of fun frolicking or lazing in our large spring fed pond (no fish), playing on our fabulous tennis court, a sing song around the large fire pit, an invigorating game of basketball, or exploring beautiful Beaver Valley for waterfalls, restaurants, bakeries, our local cidery, and much much more.

Anytime of year you can enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub while watching the sun set. Or perhaps an invigorating game of air hockey or ping pong. Make sure you leave time for a hot chocolate by the cozy fire. Our gourmet kitchen will inspire you to create and enjoy wonderful meals. If you prefer a little more privacy, you can slip away to your master suite with cathedral ceilings, and an ensuite bathroom with a lovely claw foot tub.

Beaver Valley is one of Ontario's best kept secrets and this home/property is the perfect spot to show it off. The pictures do not do it justice; this place is magnificent! The house itself is one of the most interesting places we have stayed - unique design with every room having its own individual flare. It was large and cozy all at the same time. The property keeps up with the house with spectacular panoramic views of the Niagara Escarpment. The pond is one the coolest features - large, deep and remarkably clear water. The first weekend was frighteningly hot yet the pond kept cool. Janice and Jon were a joy to work with. I hope they continue to share their oasis- we will definitely be back. Thanks to you both for such a fantastic holiday!

We really enjoyed our week at Bonnie Doones. The beds were very comfortable, the pond was fun to swim in and the views were beautiful. It was a great location for exploring small towns and hiking or driving into Collingwood. Janice gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing.
We would definitely go back!

Hi Janice,

It was very nice to spend our weekend in Bonnie Doones. Everyone from our group loved the excellent views, Pond, Tennis court. When we arrived at the property, we were amazed by the size, interior and all amenities. This property has everything that a family or group of friends need. Actually it was not enough for us to completely utilize the properties and amenities. We wanted to stay there for more days. Hope soon we will return. Excellent memories.

Thanks a lot,
Kumar

Owner response:
It's our pleasure to share our slice of heaven. We look forward to your next visit.
Janice

This was my first time back to Bonnie Doones after eight years. It was just as beautiful as I remembered it! The chalet is spacious, very well-appointed and the views are spectacular. The chalet worked just as well for our group of seven friends in 2018 as it did for extended family in 2010. I have stayed in many chalets over the years, but none come close to Bonnie Doones.

We hosted our annual retreat and had the best time. Plenty of space for all our collective activities, tons of room to cook and eat, and absolutely loved the spectacular views. Lots of support from the owners - we could not have asked for a better stay.
