New Waterfront Cottage on Black Donald Lake - Calabogie

Welcome to our family cottage on beautiful Black Donald Lake, just outside Calabogie and about 75 minutes from Ottawa. Built in 2024, it's a cozy, four-season retreat perched on a rugged cliffside lot with stunning lake views. It's a place to slow down, get outside, and enjoy the quiet.

The cottage is warm, solid and efficient, with spray-foam insulation and triple-pane windows. It's heated with electric baseboards, and there's also a WETT-certified woodstove, so there's nothing quite like a winter evening by the fire after a day outdoors. It has three bedrooms plus a sofa bed. It can technically sleep six, but it's a cozy space that's best for a family or two couples, and it isn't well suited to larger groups. Furnishings are a comfortable mix of new and well-loved family pieces.

Good to Know

The property is on a cliffside lot with natural, rugged terrain and several flights of stairs down to the dock. It's beautiful but best suited to guests who are comfortable with stairs and uneven ground.
The driveway is plowed in winter, with parking right beside the cottage.
The cottage runs on a private well and septic system.

A separate bunkie is available for an additional charge if you need extra space.
