Welcome to The Beach Pea - a brand new, two-bedroom cottage, ideally located in Kingsport just a three-minute walk to the beach. It faces due south on a sunny landscaped property with private spaces for relaxing and enjoying a barbecue. Everything is here for your comfort, from a well-equipped kitchen, spacious shower to new linens and towels. And large floor-to-ceiling windows for light and the fresh seaside breezes.
Kingsport by the Sea is a charming hamlet tucked away in the Annapolis Valley, Kings County in the heart of Nova Scotia. The Kingsport beach is a large sand beach on the Minus Basin along the Bay of Fundy, known for the highest tides in the world. At low tide you can walk for miles. When the tide is high it's perfect for boating, canoes, kayaks and paddle boarding. There's a large timber wharf with a boat slip so if you have a boat on a trailer, it's easily launched from here. There is also another small beach closer to the Beach Pea, only known to the locals! A nice spot to fly a kite and to sunbathe in privacy.
Of course, no beach should be without a canteen. Here in Kingsport, we have the 'Tides In' offering everyone's summer favourites - hamburgers, fish and chips, ice cream and more.
Beyond the Beach Pea
The village of Canning is a four-minute drive away. There's a pharmacy, art gallery, designer clothing shop, medical centre, two cafés, the best coffee shop in the county, and the Dickie Baxter Tap Room and Bistro with an amazing menu and a wonderful vibe. The Bessie North House, named best restaurant in Nova Scotia, is minutes from the Beach Pea.
The Annex in Canning features live entertainment on a regular basis. And the parent company, the Maritime Centre for the Arts at Ross Creek is nearby. Every summer they present 2 to 3 live performances, outdoors in one of their many unique settings. Check out their website and be amazed.
