The deck on the rear side faces a open space that is ideal for dog owners who want a fenced in area. Cottage is close to near by attractions, such as Stompin Tom Centre, North Cape, flishing villages and many beautiful beaches. Tignish is close by, and has groceries, stores, restaurants, coffee place, well stocked liquor store and Home Hardware Store. Jacques Cartier Park is also near by. The island-length bicycle trail, the Confederation Trail, can be picked up in Tignish and in Alberton, the latter which is 13 km away.
