A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome, but no cats or other pets please
Please note that, according to the municipality's bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own outdoor towels
The cottage must be left in a tidy condition. A cleaning fee is collected so that a cleaning team can complete a post-departure clean.
This cottage is on a point of land, so there is southern western, and northern exposure
Waterfront
The cottage has a sandy beach and a swimming dock and boat house. There's great shallow and deep water swimming with a sandy bottom, and fantastic fishing for the kids off the boathouse docks (fishing gear not supplied). There are some weeds but it's generally good for swimming.

Six Mile Provincial Park. A charming park with scenic landscapes, playground and picnic areas, 3 sandy beaches, including designated pet beach, watercraft rentals, and 3 rugged, picturesque hiking trails. The park is well-known for recreational boating and fishing. (40 mins)
Lock 44 - Big Chute Marine Railway. Big Chute Marine Railway is a short drive from Coldwater. It is the only marine railway of its kind in North America. Big Chute has large grounds for. (35 mins)
Big Chute Hiking Trail. 8.7-km circular trail, generally considered moderately challenging. It takes an average of 2 h 4 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. (35 mins)
