Our family has been renting cottages for over 20 years. We never dreamed we'd get the chance to own our own cottage - until we found this gem last winter. The moment we pulled into the driveway, we felt ourselves relax and the stress melt away. We felt a sense of PEACE and we want to share our OASIS with you!
Welcome to Wadsworth Pines - your home away from home.
Our spacious lakefront cottage is located on Wadsworth Lake just outside of Combermere, ON. It is
situated on a large flat property in a quiet bay, surrounded by tall pines and lots of nature. The waterfront
includes a flat, sandy, and shallow beach with a gradual slope and calm waters, perfect for families. The
cottage is located close to many hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails as well. In the summer, you can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating and hiking. In the winter, you can enjoy skating, sledding, and ice fishing on the frozen lake. Our cottage is the perfect escape for families or groups and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy the beauty of all 4 seasons.
The cottage sleeps up to 11 guests across 5 bedrooms, plus a seasonal bunkie which includes a queen
bed for an additional 2 guests between the months of May and October (weather permitting).
Inside the main cottage, you'll find:
-Master Bedroom With Lakeview Balcony - 1 King Bed (second floor)
-Bedroom 2: 3 Twin Beds (second floor)
-Bedroom 3: 1 Double Bed (second floor)
-Bedroom 4: 1 Double Bed (main floor)
-Bedroom 5: 1 Double Bed (main floor)
The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals and gather together. A BBQ is also available on
the front deck for grilling.
Spend your day on the sandy beach soaking up the sun or head out in a kayak, stand up paddle board or
canoe. Spend your evenings gathered around our beautiful lakeside fire pit, where you can relax with
late-night fires (wood included) under the stars or gathered around a board game at the dining room table. This is the perfect 4 season cottage to gather your family or friends together to relax, reconnect and enjoy all that
Madawaska Valley has to offer.
Outdoor activities and amenities:
-Fishing, swimming, sunbathing
-1 canoe, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards
**there are a few life jackets but it would be wise to bring your own
-Hammock
-sand toys
-Firepit
-2 picnic tables with umbrellas by the water
-outdoor games include badminton, axe throwing, volleyball, a swing set, etc.
-hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails
-skating, sledding and ice fishing in the winter months
Indoor activities and amenities:
-games and puzzles, books and cards
-tv with dvd player
-high chair
Fully stocked kitchen and tap water is drinkable (cottage is on a well with UV water filter system)
Linens-Pillows, mattress pads, heavy blankets are provided
**Guests must bring their own bed linens, beach towels and bath towels as well as kitchen cloths/towels
Bookings are Sat-Sat during the Summer Months. Check-in 3pm; Check-out 10am
