Welcome to our modern yet cozy haven in nature! This is a new build, open concept 1650 square foot waterfront cottage on Salerno Lake, located on a quiet bay in Haliburton Highlands East. With a large 2.7 acre property and 380 feet of shoreline, you'll be sure to enjoy a quiet sanctuary in nature, with the closest neighbours more than 500 feet away.
Sit back on the large deck and enjoy your morning coffee while you listen to the calming sounds of loons. Our property is west facing, and has excellent swimming (no weeds) with a full afternoon of sun directly on the dock and deck. There is a large fixed dock where you can enjoy the sounds of laughter, while the kids play around in the water and jump off the swim dock or enjoy the kayak and paddleboard. Our property sits perched up above the water, allowing for spectacular views of the lake and sunset, whether on the deck or in the great room with its large windows.
There is a boat launch on the lake if you choose to bring your own boat and an area on the dock where you can tether your boat. The lake 7km long and is great for tubing, water skiing, fishing or going for a leisurely after dinner boat ride. It is recommended not to bring boats larger than 22 feet long (all boaters must have their boating license). There is ample space to park your boat trailer.
