Lakeside Lookout

PLACE

Located on popular Lake Cecebe with access to over 40 miles of boating. Rent a boat or bring your own, there is plenty of space at your private dock. Boat or drive to the town of Magnetawan where you can find amenities, the locks to Ahmic Lake, a lakeside playground and beach for the kids or grab a bite to eat at our local eatery or snack bar. Closer still you can take a short canoe or kayak ride to the island coffee shop, Bean On The Dock, for a wonderful coffee beverage and pastry. Lake Cecebe is excellent lake for fishing, watersports or just sitting on the dock soaking up the sun and view. Our cottage is situated facing southwest very close to the water's edge. The sunlight dances off the water onto the cottage ceilings in the late afternoon. We are on a lovely road, absolutely stunning in the fall with the overhanging red maple tree leaves. A great road to walk on and enjoy nature. We accept well behaved dogs and our cottage offers a fenced in waterside yard open to the lake providing freedom for your dog off leash. We have kayaks, a canoe, kid's paddleboard and a large floating water mat for your use and enjoyment. The cottage is our winter home and during the summer we live 300 meters across the lake at our seasonal cottage on Watson Island should you need anything during your stay. This cottage is best suited for families and mature groups.

MAIN FLOOR

Beautiful and well-equipped kitchen with a large island, open concept living room and dining room. Two large 8-foot patio doors take you out to a large deck spanning the entire front of the cottage with a BBQ and 8-seat patio table. Entrance to the sunroom is accessed from both the deck and the kitchen. We have bedroom number 1 on this floor with a queen-sized bed and a washroom with a walk-in shower. The TV is high quality and has all your entertainment needs or play one of our many board and card games.
