First time offered! Escape to the simple pleasures of lakeside living at this charming 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath cottage on beautiful Malcolm Lake in North Frontenac. A cozy, family-friendly cottage nestled beside a scenic forest ridge, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern comfort. With level access to the water (no stairs!), this four-season getaway is ideal for families, nature lovers, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.
Spend your days paddling the lake with the included kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, swimming off the dock, or exploring the forested surroundings. Evenings are for roasting marshmallows around the firepit, playing cards on the deck, or simply gazing at the stars in the quiet night sky.
Inside, you'll find a bright, well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living area with a propane fireplace, and large southeast-facing windows that bring the lake views right to you. Perfect for slow mornings or rainy-day reads. Stay connected with Starlink internet, making it easy to work remotely or stream your favorite shows.
This is a place to unplug, breathe deep, and enjoy a classic Canadian cottage vacation. Expect stunning sunrises, lazy lake days, cozy evenings by the fire, and a real sense of peace. The cottage is comfortable, clean, and well-cared-for, but it's not a luxury villa. If you're looking for granite countertops and designer interiors, this might not be your spot. But if you're craving nature, stillness, and the kind of togetherness that only happens at the lake, you'll feel right at home.
Located in North Frontenac on beautiful Malcolm Lake, this cottage offers a peaceful setting in Ontario's Land O'Lakes region, perfect for those looking to unwind in nature. Just under 2 hours from both Ottawa and Kingston, and approximately 3 hours from Toronto, it's a convenient escape from the city while still feeling tucked away from it all. Nearby towns like Northbrook, Plevna and Sharbot Lake offer essentials, local shops, and small-town charm.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a new rental, and we're in the process of making some thoughtful upgrades to furniture, amenities, and decor throughout the cottage. Photos may not reflect every change immediately, but rest assured any updates will only enhance your stay. We'll continue to refresh the listing with new photos as each space is updated!
