The Whitestone Lakehouse has deep weed free water off the dock. The town of Dunchurch (about 8 minutes away) has a public sandy beach with a gradual entry. Note: The Whitestone Lakehouse is about 30 minutes from Parry Sound and 8 minutes from Dunchurch. Parry Sound has a variety of shops and restaurants and is home to a popular summer music Festival.

| This cottage is the perfect blend of space and coziness with something for everyone.
The kids enjoyed hours of fishing, ping pong, swimming, kayaking, playing soccer and the secret play space.
The adults enjoyed the spacious rooms, the kitchen, the BBQ, the deck, the sun room, the late night campfires and all of the water toys. I got a lot of use of the stand up paddle boards!!
The cottage is stunning inside and out. The craftsmanship is outstanding.
The owners are super friendly and super organized.
All of the above is why we have stayed at this cottage 4 times already and we will be back again and again.

| Perched on a gentle slope above Whitestone Lake, this cottage was a hidden gem that exceeded expectations?relaxing, peaceful, scenic, and family-friendly. It gave our two families the perfect cottage escape from the GTA and truly delivered the full Canadian cottage experience.
Inside, the cottage balances rustic charm and modern comfort. Large windows offer lake views and plenty of natural light. The décor is warm, with cozy furniture, modern electronics, and Wi-Fi. The sunroom was perfect for morning coffee on rainy days. Thoughtful touches like local info and attraction guides (our kids loved Screaming Heads!) were appreciated.
The well-stocked kitchen included cookware, utensils, a BBQ, and an oversized fridge?great for group meals. The large patio and firepit area were perfect for evening gatherings. Bedrooms were clean and cozy, and the master balcony was ideal for stargazing.
Down at the private dock, we enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and floating. The lake was calm, clean, and great for all ages. Cliff diving nearby thrilled the teens!
Though secluded, the cottage is just a 10-minute drive from Dunchurch and 30 minutes into Parry Sound. Don't miss the Kawartha ice cream!
Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We've already planned our return?this place truly stands out.
