It has over 100ft of south-facing private sandy shoreline for wading in or diving off the Lily Pad. Our property is nestled cozily in a little cove for full afternoon sun. It is terrific for swimming, fishing, and all your outdoor activities.
Curl up by the lake view in bed with a book, or sip your morning coffee on the dock, all while enjoying your getaway.
THE SPACE
Mulberry Cove is a warm raspberry colour of the cottage that appears as you enter the laneway. The boathouse in a matching hue serves as a relaxing backdrop for the lower deck lounge area nestled in a bay with calm and protected waters, with only a few neighbours on either side

Three-bedroom house comfortably sleeps 6: three bedrooms with queen beds (one of them has one single bed too)

SUMMER INFORMATION
- Two kayaks, one paddle board, one stand-up paddle board, beach toys, floaties, and a Lily Pad are provided.
- The entry into the water is gradual and sandy, making it ideal for little ones.
- The floating Lily Pad provides deeper water for jumping off.
- The house deck offers beautiful lake views, a sitting area, and a dining table for meals.
- There is a BBQ available for all your yummy meals.
- The floating dock is fun for families, and the lake has plenty of fish, including Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Splake.
- There is a deck alongside the boathouse for a tranquil, private view of the lake, with a cozy conversation set to lounge on.
- There is a nice cottage road to go for walks.
- The lot is level, making it perfect for playing games or having an easy time getting around.
- There is a fire pit for when campfires are allowed.
- There is a treehouse that every kid dreams of.
- An outhouse (doesn't have an odour) is available when the inside bathroom is occupied.
- The area is quiet and private, yet close to all the local adventures.

While many guests may find the property itself to be a great destination, there are several nearby activities that you can enjoy:
- 25 minutes to Bancroft: here you will find restaurants, a play theatre, gemstone and rock hounding treasures (Gem Capital of Canada), a golf course, and Eagles Nest Park (with a lookout and hiking trails).
- 5 minutes to McGeachie Conservation Area: it has 500 acres of land and many unmarked walking trails, beaver ponds, wildlife, and wetlands.
- Steenburg Lake Road intersects with Hastings Road, part of the Hastings Heritage ATV trail (a former rail line).
- On the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs' trail system.
- The property is an excellent base for a day trip to Algonquin Park.
- 38 minutes to scenic waterfalls at Eagan Chutes Provincial Park.
- 5 minutes to St. Ola's Station at the corner of Hwy 62 and Steenburg Lake Rd. It has an LCBO and sells staple food items and personal products, homemade meals, ice cream, and more.
