Located just over 1 hour from Ottawa and Kingston, and 3 hours from Toronto, our cherished family cottage on the peaceful southwest shore of Otty Lake is now available for rent for the first time ever. This is a genuine family property, lovingly cared for and not previously rented out.

Built entirely from pine (no drywall in sight), the warm, woodsy scent greets you as soon as you arrive. Just 30 feet from the shoreline, this rustic retreat is ideal for those looking to unwind, unplug, and enjoy quality time in nature.

Prefer a setup for younger kids? We can substitute up to 3 children's beds in place of a queen for a small fee. Whether your group consists of two families with kids (4 adults + 4 children) or a group of four couples, every guest will enjoy a cozy room with screened windows, fans, and closet space. Linens provided!

Your stay includes a detailed welcome guide with local tips, hike suggestions within 40 minutes, and restaurant recommendations (including waterfront spots). Anglers with a valid fishing license will love casting for smallmouth bass and pike along the shoreline. (Bring your own gear)

Important Notes
To ensure all guests enjoy the same peaceful, family-friendly experience, we have a few important house rules:
- No parties, no smoking - this is strictly enforced
- One pet allowed on a case-by-case basis, with fee
- Maximum of 8 guests - no additional visitors or overnight guests
- No camping on the property
- The fireplace is not available for use
- Please leave the cottage and grounds clean and tidy, as you found them
- Guests must take all garbage and recycling with them at the end of their stay
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse bookings that don't align with these expectations. For your safety and ours, the property is equipped with exterior security cameras facing the driveway and the lake. There are no cameras inside the cottage.
