The open-concept living/dining area leads into the kitchen, which is equipped with the essential major appliances and a coffee bar that features both a Keurig and a drip-style coffee maker. Framed in pine, the open-front cupboards allow easy access to dishes and glassware. Although water from the cottage's well is filtered, there is also a water cooler in the hallway adjacent to the kitchen.

The master bedroom, at the end of this short hall, has a king-sized bed and a lovely view of the lake. On the other side of the hall, the primary bathroom features both a step-in shower stall and an antique claw-foot tub for those who prefer to sink into the water and soak. Upstairs, a secondary powder room contains a washer and dryer, if needed. On this level, there is cozy sitting room, a spacious bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a sleeping nook that has a set of single bunks, plus a trundle bed below the bottom bunk. Additional beds for four are available in the seasonal bunkie.
Snuggled beside the cottage, this one-room BUNKIE includes a queen bed and a twin bed with a trundle that pulls out into a second full-sized single bed.

There are 42-inch Smart TVs in both the upper sitting room and main-floor living room, as well as the bunkie. The upstairs television also has a Blu-Ray DVD player and a Wii game console. For those who prefer non-electronic entertainment, there is a collection of table games and puzzles in the downstairs living room. Outdoor games include horseshoes, volleyball and badminton. For water-based fun, the cottage is equipped with a canoe, a paddleboard and two kayaks.

For those interested in venturing beyond the cottage property, the nearest village to check out is South River. Although it has a population of only about 1,100, it sports a nice selection of amenities, including a micro brewery, several bars/restaurants, an art gallery and the popular mineral/crystal/fossil exhibit and shop known as Crystal Cave. Other nearby recreational opportunities include the Eagle Lake Golf Course, Stewart Coughlin Riding Ranch and petting farm, as well as several parks. Nearby you'll find Mikisew Provincial Park, South River Cascade wilderness area and Tom Thomson Park, where there's an 18-hole disc golf course. Or, for more adventurous entertainment, some visitors may want to take a guided tour offered by Outdoor Adventures ATV. Whatever the preference, Crystal Haven is a great place to use as home base for a cottage getaway!
