Welcome to Nature's Way on Salmon Trout Lake! Nature's Way is the perfect 3-season lakefront retreat for couples or a family of 4. Our charming 16x20 west-facing cabin offers a peaceful escape in cottage country with direct access to Salmon Trout Lake. Relax on the deck or the dock, taking in the breathtaking views. Inside, enjoy the cozy ambiance around the gas fireplace while watching TV or playing games. The cabin accommodates up to 4 guests, ideal for 2 couples or a family. It features a queen bed in the loft area and a queen pull-out couch on the main floor. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, waffle maker, toaster, hand mixer, and electric griddle. Outside, there's a BBQ for grilling. The water comes from a drilled well and is drinkable. We provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. Just bring your food, drinks, and personal items. We supply toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, parchment paper, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, dishwashing soap, BBQ propane, and enough firewood/ kindling for your campfires (subject to local fire regulations). An automatic backup generator is connected in case of a power outage, and high-speed internet/Wi-Fi is included.
The cabin boasts a wrap-around deck with easy access to the lake. Enjoy kayaking, pedal boating, paddleboarding, or canoeing, along with life jackets, safety kits, and inflatable water toys. Salmon Trout Lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for walleye and smallmouth bass. The property gently slopes from the road to the lake, with parking for up to 4 vehicles. A public boat launch is located at the north end of the lake.
Nature's Way is conveniently located halfway between Toronto and Ottawa, in Monteagle Township, Hastings Highlands, Ontario. Bancroft, just 20 minutes away, offers a hospital, restaurants, live theatre, grocery stores (No Frills, Foodland), Tim Hortons, Starbucks, LCBO, and a variety of shops. Nearby attractions include Egan Chutes Provincial Park, Eagles Nest, and High Falls.
We take great pride in maintaining our cabin to the highest standards to ensure a spotless and welcoming experience. We kindly ask for your consideration during your stay. Please note that smoking/vaping is not allowed inside the cabin. We seek responsible guests?this is not a party rental.
Nature's Way is available for weekly Saturday-to-Saturday rentals, with weekend rentals available during the off-season.
The lakeside bunkie shown in the last picture is available for an additional $250 per week. It has a bunkbed and no washroom.
