This 2023-built family-friendly cottage is the perfect blend of modern comforts and real Muskoka charm on highly sought after Oxbow Lake, situated right between the bustling town of Huntsville and Algonquin Park and a stone's throw from the hidden gem, Limberlost Wildlife Reserve. Bring your multi-generational family here for an unforgettable experience immersed in nature. Picture yourself in one of the ultra-comfy, fireside gathering areas under the vaulted ceiling and timber frame wooden accents. Complete with designer kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large dining table, living area and a cosy reading nook beside the gas fireplace, views of the lake are available from all angles of this open concept main level. Walk out the sliding glass doors to the deck and BBQ you'll be greeted by a covered porch with more comfy seating and a gorgeous full view of the water, dock and gorgeous, expansive lawn to the lake, perfect for frisbee, soccer or croquet. The main floor queen bedroom shares an ensuite that opens on both sides, while on the lower level you'll have your pick of 2 more spacious queen bedrooms. There's a full sized walkout onto a covered patio from the lower living area that boasts a generous media viewing space with over-sized sectional couch, taking advantage of the high speed Starlink internet on site. Spend your time on the sunny dock in a Muskoka chair while the kids jump on the water trampoline and swim in the lake. Explore the diversity the lake has to offer in either the 2-person kayak or the 3-person canoe. From shallow, sandy shorelines to towering cliffs and deep Oxbow Lake offers so much for a small lake, in summer and winter months. Bringing your own motorboat? No problem. The free public boat launch is nearby and you can moor safely at the cottage dock. There's excellent swimming and splashing in the shallows in clean, clear water. After dinner consider situating your family on the dock's Muskoka chairs to view the sunset and, if you're lucky, see some fireflies and shooting stars. The landscaped bonfire area is equipped with Muskoka chairs for your ghost stories, campfire songs and s'mores around the fire and beside the lake.

"We had the best time at this cottage!! My husband and I were here for 8 days with our dogs and I can't say enough good things! Terri was very helpful and responsive and the cottage itself was truly exquisite! It was so clean…as if we were the first to ever stay there!
The inside is so incredibly comfy and cozy and beautifully designed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
There is so much outdoor seating for dining and just hanging out as well.
This part of the lake is so quiet and quite private as it is a bit further out, but we loved it for that reason. We spent most of our time at the dock and even though the weather was a bit chilly for a few of the days we were there, sitting on the dock with the dogs was still such a delight!
I certainly hope this visit won't be our last!

This cottage is located directly on the Ontario Snowmobile Trail and the ATV trail. Offers easy access to hiking trails as well. Fishing in this lake is very good for bass, pike, some trout.
