Welcome to Willow Tree Lake House! This charming waterfront home is just steps from Point Pelee National Park but close to all the amenities of Leamington. With three large bedrooms and two bathrooms this two storey home has lots of room for family or friends. This cottage has been serving guests for several years but is a new listing on Cottages in Canada. Located right on Lake Erie with great sunset views over the lake and steps from the National Park its a great place for birding, beaching & watersports, hiking, biking, visits to Pelee Island and the many North Shore wineries or exploring Leamington, Kingsville, Amherstburg and Windsor.
Property & Neighbours
The property is 50 feet wide with a 40 foot deck directly on the lake. We have fulltime homeowners on each side. This is not the place for parties or noise as we want to respect our neighbours. But it is a great place to relax, take in the horizon, listen to the waves and watch the sunsets.
Bedrooms
The cottage has three very spacious bedrooms:
Lakeview bedroom- this romantic room on the 2nd floor has a king bed, electric fireplace, tv and sitting area with patio doors opening out to a large balcony with sitting area overlooking the lake.
Bedroom 2- also on the 2nd floor this large attractive bedroom has a queen and double bed with tv
Bedroom 3- located on the ground floor this bedroom has a queen bed, natural gas fireplace, tv and sofa
Bathrooms
Main floor bathroom- shower, jacuzzi tub, sink & toilet
2nd floor bathroom- shower, sink & toilet
Kitchen
A fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to enjoy home cooked meals and a BBQ is available for your use outside. The family/dining room has a natural gas fireplace, two sofas and a 50" TV with access to Netflix and Prime TV.
Waterfront
Outside you can enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Erie from the 40 foot waterfront deck under the shade of the willow tree. From the deck, stairs allow access to the lake on calm days. The backyard also has a firepit, picnic table, hammock and plenty of chairs. The second floor balcony overlooking the lake can also be accessed from the backyard and is another great spot to relax and enjoy the view.
Parking
The private driveway can accommodate up to 3-4 vehicles depending on size.
