Unwind at our family retreat with sparkling Green Lake beckoning from across the street.
Vacationers, your best lake life awaits in this comfortable, open concept home with large kitchen, dining and living areas. Live outdoors on the sunny furnished deck and the big grass lawn, perfect for kids, games, and campfires.
It's all about choices and convenience in this comfortable, lake-inspired, modern home. Living, dining, bathing, and sleeping is on the upper level with a second bathroom with shower, second fridge, laundry, and garage (kayaks, campfire chairs, lawn games) downstairs. We offer space for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and a total of 2 bathrooms.
Spend some time decompressing on the south facing 600 sq ft deck, there's two sun loungers, dining for 6 and a conversation set- perfect for morning coffee all the way through sunset. This is the place to read a book, do Sudoku or crosswords, play some music, and relax.
We always say, food tastes better at Green Lake so grill lunch on the natural gas BBQ, use the fully equipped kitchen to make a gourmet meal or just nibble. Our well water is delicious and there's filtered ice and water at the fridge (no need for bottled).
You'll have high speed internet, WIFI and cell service. A smart TV in the living room can stream from your device (note: no standard television channels). Want to have a friendly competitive games night or do a large puzzle, set up on the large dining table and get the snacks out. Cozy up on the huge sectional sofa for movie night with the gas fireplace!
The over half acre property has room for lawn games, towering trees, and views of Green Lake across the street. Take the kayaks onto the pristine waters and paddle around our quiet end of the lake- it's almost all Crown & Park shoreline on the south side with two islands to explore.
Explore all the Cariboo has to offer with nearby groceries, restaurants, shops, and Farmer's Markets in Lone Butte and 100 Mile House. We're 5 min from Watch Lake for Rainbow Trout fishing. Plan easy day trips, including Wells Gray Provincial Park and Helmcken Falls, or visit one of the many fishing & recreational lakes on Highway 24.
End your day right with a campfire under the stars in our comfy Adirondack chairs, firewood & s'more roasting sticks included. There's also a propane firepit on standby, instant flames and no work!
The Lakehouse on Fox is a special place, come enjoy long summer days where the kids can roam free, friends can relax together, and the memories will last a lifetime.
