Relax with the family at our modern and well-appointed 3 bedroom cottage on the north shore of Rice Lake. Bask in the sunlight, or find a shady spot. Enjoy the breathtaking lake view from inside, and on the large deck. Enjoy fishing and canoeing off the private dock, and have a camp fire. Birders will love the many varieties of birds who visit the feeder. The Happé Haven is loved most for it's relaxing and peaceful vibe. You'll be amazed at the sunrises and comfortable quiet atmosphere. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a home away from home. New mattresses for great sleeps. Linens and towels are provided, 2 smart TVs, and unlimited WiFi. Cell service is excellent, with lots of amenities close by. The private road and driveway are flat and easy to navigate. The driveway can hold 4 cars, and the back door (close to the driveway) has no steps, if accessibility is a factor for you or your family. The keyless entry on the side door makes check-in and check-out a breeze. You are welcome to bring your own boat, the dock is 30ft long with water depth of 5 ft at the end. The boat launch is only 3 mins away (750 ft). I'm happy to chat via text, email, or phone! I am almost always online and will respond quickly. Amenities note: Air Conditioning is a heat pump AC unit located in master bedroom that easily cools the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The great room is farther from the AC unit and is full of sunny windows, so it cannot be cooled as effectively. + VIEW MORE - COLLAPSE Note: The Happé Haven is 20 minutes south of Peterborough for great restaurants and shopping.

| This is a lovely cottage with beautiful lake views and friendly wildlife. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and lots of puzzles, games and outdoor sitting. The addition of kayaks, floaties, canoe and life jackets make it a perfect spot enjoy the lake. Lots of thick weeds so we went to Squirrel Creek for swimming. Peterborough is very close, 15 mins, for anything you need.
The cottage is not fully air conditioned. The heat pump unit is at the farthest end of the cottage to the living spaces. There is a sliding barn door to separate the areas. After the last payment, you receive the cottage manual which states the pump will not cool the whole cottage. You must shut this barn door to keep the bedrooms cool. Lots of fans in the cottage but not the same. A/C was a huge element in our cottage selection and we were disappointed. The cottage owner is aware of our feelings and responded appropriately. Hopefully an update in her listing will clarify this point.

| My family and I had an amazing time at Happé Haven this past Aug. The cottage was incredible, Sarah our host thought of everything down to the last detail. We will be forever great full for the family memories we created and we will definitely be back.
