Take your coffee out and enjoy it on the deck or down closer to the water on the dock. The property has a sand beach with gradual walk into the lake. The house is perfect for a great multi-generational family vacation or for two families to enjoy. With two completely separate living rooms, one on the main and one on the lower level the kids can play their games while the parents enjoy the view down the lake. Unlimited high speed internet for enjoying your favourite streaming services on the 75" smart TVs. EV charging plug so you are not worried about where your next charge is coming from! This is a BRAND new build in 2024 and the first rental season. The pictures will be updated as we add furniture and other items of interest. | A gorgeous cottage on a beautiful lake. We had a great time during our stay and have gone home with wonderful memories. Steve and Andrea are terrific hosts and have thought of everything you might need for your vacation.

| Papineau Lake is a fantastic family orientated lake with glass like tranquility in the early morning along with loons and birds of all kinds making it a fantastic kayaking, canoeing or paddle-boarding, and fishing experience. The lake is just the right temperature for swimming any time of the day. The hosts are out of this world, kind and gracious. The thought and care they've put into Archies' Bunker is at the level of a 7-Star resort (check the pictures!) with everything you can think of in it. Just bring yourselves, food and drink, the "resort" has everything else :-).
The surrounding area has a fantastic golf course, a very small town with lots of art and local jams and syrup and ask the host about the Saturday donuts(out of this world crazy yummy fresh and hot) where folks from Hamilton drive up to get there on Saturdays!!! -- all this within 45 mins driving distance of the "resort", giving you additional experience in a very friendly small town Ontario atmosphere, and then enough time to get back to enjoying the large deck with barbecue, or the sitting on the lake or if you did what we did, shuttle some chairs out to the "extended" dock where you can sit and dive into the water or play board games on the 12 person dinner table!!
We had such a great time, the week was much too short! There were a many other things we wanted to do but "ran out of time". We are already planning for our stay next year!! This is a great value and highly recommended.

| Just spent a werk in this first class lakehouse with a gorgeous view of Papineau Lake. Absolutely loved all the original artwork. Excellent beach and walk in to the lake.. easily accomadated our group.
