Red Roof Cabin is a quiet place to unplug, renew your connection with nature, pursue creative endeavors, read on the large, screened porch, swim, take beach walks, bird watch, and enjoy the peaceful sunsets. Just 20 minutes to restaurants, stores, and groceries in Montague and excellent golf at Brudnell. Located directly on quiet St. Mary's Bay on beautiful Panmure Island in Eastern Kings, the log cabin was built in 2020 and has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, with two queens-sized beds and a double and single bunk bed. A wide, screened in porch, bathroom, convenient kitchen with stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster over, and air fryer. Air-conditioning and heat pump. The adjacent building contains washer-dryer, another shower and toilet/ sink. Firepit and wood available. BBQ, kayaks, and rowing dinghy. No wifi. Strong cell signal. No pets. Not wheel chair accessible.
Panmure Provincial Park is five minutes away with a long sandy beach as a well as Panmure Island Lighthouse Museum and Gift Shop. The Provincial Park has a small snack bar, changing rooms, and showers with life guards on duty. The shore beach in front of the house is sand, shallow, and usually calm, terrific for swimming and kayaking.
The town of Montague is 20 minutes away with grocery stores, liquor store, restaurants, several breweries, a museum, and artisans' gallery featuring local artists. The villages of Murray River and Murray Harbour are 20-30 minutes away. There are three top-rated golf courses nearby: Brudnell, Crowbush, and Dundarave. The five-star Inn at Bay Fortune farm to table dining experience is about 40 minutes away. Charlottetown is a 60 minute drive.
