Weslemkoon is a rocky scenic lake 12 miles long and 4800 Acers in size!
This waterfront cottage is on a quiet bay over looking a waterfall where you can easily paddle or swim
around the bay. There are canoes available for free use.
Have a boat? We have a boat launch located on the property for your use! and dock space for up to 3 boats as well as Plenty of parking space for guests.

This beautiful cottage surpassed my expectations. The photographs on this site do not reflect how beautiful the cottage truly is. It all seems quite new including all the appliances. Each day we would have our meals on the deck overlooking a quiet bay listening to the sounds on the birds and the waterfall. It was very peaceful. Being a wildlife/landscape photographer I was also pleased with the photographic opportunities. It takes a little searching but there are incredable sites to see.
The only slight drawback was the cottages location with respect to towns. It turned out to be approx 45mins drive to either Madoc or Bancroft and since we had an electric vehicle it meant planing our days around charging stations. We never had any trouble but we had to keep it in mind. One day we visited Bon Echo Prov Park which was spectacular. We were very fortunate with the weather. The pool table (which is warped) but still a lot of fun and the air hockey was great. Our visit was during the olympics and there was no cable which was a little bit of a disappointment but we managed to connect our laptop and the internet signal was strong. Two canoes and a kayak were available to use (stored next door) and I spent time in the kayak every day (the canoes wern't in great shape but I purchased marine patch at a Canadiantire and fixed the hole). Swimming from the dock is not advisable (weedy with no easy access in and out) but you can swim next door (still not ideal). Great week
