Situated on desirable Kennisis Lake, Camp Yeti provides crystal clear waters, 1 acre treed property, and breathtaking "treetop" views of the Haliburton Highlands. Multiple spaces to enjoy the lake inside & out, this 3 bed/ 2 bath features a modern/rustic design with hot tub, vaulted ceilings, cozy screened-in porch, multiple waterside decks, floating dock, and a sauna. The space
Every room in the cottage has a view of the lake! There are big windows and sliding doors throughout, bringing the beauty of Kennisis Lake to every room. The cottage has both modern elements as well as a rustic/traditional cottage design to keep the charm of the original cottage.
The cottage is a 2 level layout with 2 bedrooms and a 4-piece bath on ground floor and a huge master bed and bath addition on the other side of the cottage (upper floor). The master suite offers ultimate privacy and relaxation with vaulted ceilings, master walkout balcony and a spa-like bathroom with a soaker tub and sauna.
The great room is an entertainers dream featuring a 7ft harvest dining table to seat the whole family, a modern kitchen with new appliances, and cozy living room couches next to the wood burning fireplace.
The kitchen is stocked with all the tools needed for the ultimate "cottage chefie" to work their magic. The fridge/freezer, stove (with built in air-fryer), and dishwasher are all new stainless steel appliances. A toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, microwave, and ninja blender are available for guests. There are ample dishes, cups, glasses and small utensils. A Weber barbecue is just outside the kitchen sliding door on the deck (propane included).
The cozy living room is furnished with large comfy couches, 50? smart tv (with Netflix, Crave, etc), and board games. Our wifi is with Bell and is excellent for those wishing to WFC..."work from the cottage".
There are multiple outdoor areas to enjoy:
- a large screened in porch with expansive couches and dining table (perfect for outdoor hangouts during bug seasons)
- a 5 person hot tub with incredible lake views
- an expansive wrap around deck is attached to the cottage with stunning views of Kennisis featuring Adirondack chairs, propane BBQ and a dining table
- master bedroom balcony with chairs to cozy up in with your morning coffee
- approx. 20 steps from the back of the cottage lead you to a large lakeside deck right on the waters edge overlooking the 20 foot floating dock. Lounge, tan, or watch the kids jump off the dock!
- A double kayak and 2 stand up paddle boards are provided with 2 infant, 1 child lifejacket and 3 adult lifejackets.
- firepit area behind the cottage with an abundance of lakeviews. Please use responsibly. Wood can be purchased on your way in at the Haliburton Forest.
Note:
- We do provide bedding (pillows, blankets, duvet and sheets) and bath /hand/face towels. Please bring your own beach and hot tub towels.
- The approx 20 steps to the waterfront from the cottage are steep/uneven in some areas. Use caution when venturing down to the water. Access to the lake is via the ladder from the dock or slowly venturing in on the smooth rock shoreline.
- Please note: this is a family friendly cottage. Parties and loud groups will not be permitted.
- separate laundry & dryer area in the basement for guests to use.
- we do not allow boats to be parked on our dock to avoid any damages to our or your property. If you own a boat or rent one, please reserve a slip at Kennisis Lake Marina
