This is the one you've been waiting for! An up north cottage with a true Canadian feel, only 80 minutes from the GTA! Welcome to ?Lake View Point? located on Lake Dalrymple, one of the first lakes in the Kawarthas. Surrounded by the Carden Alvar, Avery Point is one of the most unique roads in all of cottage country. The space: This newly renovated, spacious waterfront cottage has 3-bedrooms that can sleep up to 9 guests. Guests can enjoy large dining and seating areas throughout this charming cedar wood cottage. Plenty of indoor and outdoor hosting spaces for your family and friends. Spend your time outdoors enjoying the 50ft dock boating, fishing, swimming or laying under the sun. There is also a shaded section of the dock for parents to watch over children while they play in the shallow, sandy waters. We also have a patio deck overlooking the lake and waterfront dock. In the backyard you will find a shaded picnic area with two gazebos and two picnic benches for all your outdoor meals. There is a brand new, large BBQ with a steak searer and a cozy fire pit area with 8 large wooden Muskoka chairs. There are 5 parking spots on the front lawn. Inside the cottage, is a newly renovated bathroom that consists of a toilet, double stand up shower, rustic live edge sink and a full size washer and dryer. There is also a place for all your toiletries and belongings. Living room has a 60" Smart TV with Netflix and a 25ft HDMI cable. The kitchen has full size appliances, including a dishwasher, and all necessary cookware (pots/ pans) and utensils. There is Keurig machine, also a tassimo machine , drip coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
We provide a water dispenser for drinking as it is not recommended to drink the tap water.
We provide fresh linens, bedding and pillows during your stay ** we do not provide bath or beach towels. Please supply your own towels during your stay **
We provide paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods & dryer sheets.
This is a pet-free cottage as we respect everyone's preferences and allergies so please leave your furry friends at home.
Feel free to bring your water toys such as a boats, jet skis, seadoos, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.
There are multiple boat launches near by with a public one only 4 minutes away!
Bring your fishing rods as Lake Dalrymple is a fisherman's paradise. In this lake you can catch, large and small mouth bass, pike, walleye and musky.
This is a family oriented neighborhood and cottage. We respect our neighbors and we hope you will too as they live here all year round. Please no loud noise or music after 10PM!
* During the winter season the lake docks in the area must come out of the lake. We try to accommodate and keep the dock in as long as possible, but generally around October/November the dock comes out of the lake. We do have another small patio by the lake shore open all year just be safe ! If you have any further questions regarding this matter, feel free to ask me anytime.
Lastly, please keep our waterfront and lake side clean. Please avoid food, plastic or glass by the waterfront areas.
