Just 5 mins to town of Port Carling, 14 mins to waterfalls, 35 mins to Gravenhurst Nordic Trails. Snowmobile trails and ice fishing right on our lake!

GUEST ACCESS
Guests will have full access to the entire cottage. Beach bunkie is available May thru Sept only. AC is pre-set and not adjustable by guests (the entire cottage stays breezy and VERY comfortable in summer). Please note there is no door to the bathroom, in the master bedroom. Our previous guests have not had any concerns, but please do not book if you do not feel comfortable with this. Thank you.

1. Oct-April the cottage can accommodate 6 guests total in 3 bedrooms + 1 on Serta Foam single mattress (7 guests total)
2. May-Sept the cottage can accommodate 8 guests total in 4 bedrooms including Beach Bunkie w/ Queen bed
3. No AC in the Beach Bunkie, however the calm breeze off the lake keeps the room and entire cottage very comfortable
4. This is a paddle-friendly community. No motor boats please
5. Water at the cottage is filtered and safe to drink
6. In summer, AC is auto-regulated and not accessible to guests, however we always ensure the home will stay very comfortable for all our guests.
7. In the colder months, the home is heated by baseboard heaters along with a wall mount heat pump. There is also a wood burning fireplace.
The home is one level with the exception of one step in the sunken living room by the sliding door & a few exterior steps, making it easily accessible for most older guests or guests with mobility concerns.
Please note there is no door to the master bathroom. Our previous guests have not had any concerns, but please do not book if you do not feel comfortable with this.

| We had an incredible stay at The Henny in Port Carling! The cottage was in immaculate condition?beautifully maintained, premium in every sense, and nestled right on the edge of the stunning Lake Henshaw. The private beach was a dream, offering everything from kayaking and canoeing to relaxing on the paddle board.
The views were nothing short of breathtaking, especially at sunset and during nighttime star gazing right from the comfort of the living room. Inside, the cottage was cozy yet luxurious, stocked with board games and all the comforts of home. It was the perfect blend of nature and comfort.
Special thanks to Cristina, who was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Her attention to detail made everything seamless.
If you're looking for a peaceful lakeside escape with top-notch amenities and views that leave you speechless, this is it. Worth every moment ? we can't wait to return!

| This cottage is a total winner, with stunning lake views and a well-planned interior that's got serious charm. Surrounded by the lake on one side and trees and hills on the other, it offers unmatched privacy. Inside, it's spotless and fully equipped with a complete kitchen, large smart TV, comfortable furniture, board games, and a cozy fireplace, all paired with beautiful lake views. Three of the four bedrooms, including the beach bunkie, have lake-facing decks with sliding doors. Enjoying a barbecue and relaxing by the firepit while watching the sunset over the calm lake was just perfect.. A huge thank you to Cristina for being so accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful. This cottage is a top choice, and I look forward to returning.

| We were a family of 8 adults (4 couples) and we really enjoyed our time at the Henny. It was clean, with many places to relax indoors and out; the beach, watertoys, and the lake itself were great; the ad pictures give a true representation of the place, with its awesome views of the lake; the beds were comfortable and linen was good, ample towels were supplied; the kitchen was big enough for our group.
