IG: @parkplaceonthelake Park Place on the lake is a recently renovated A-frame cottage nestled directly on the serene shores of Young Lake, a smaller spring fed lake, part of the Kawartha Lakes region which offers a gentle sandy bottom and warm temperatures. It offers a nice gradual entry, great for swimming and paddling with the use of our provided kayaks, canoe or paddle boards. Enjoy the tranquility on the private dock just steps away from the cottage as you sip your morning coffee or watch the breathtaking sunsets overlooking the lake with the western facing shoreline. Cozy up around the fire pit, toast marshmallows and share stories while soaking up the serene views of the lake. The living area has comfortable seating including a spacious luxury leather couch and two mid-century modern armchairs. The coffee table trunk reveals an abundance of cards, puzzles and board games to provide endless hours of fun and quality time with your loved ones.

The A-frame features 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect one for you. The most loved is the spacious private master loft which hosts a comfortable queen bed with breathtaking views of the lake. The main floor offers a welcoming guest bedroom with a cozy double bed alongside an additional bedroom offering two twin-sized beds, perfect for the kids. All bedrooms include comfortable bedding, fresh white linens, pillows and extras blankets. The cottage comfortably accommodates six guests.

The newly renovated main floor bathroom is sure to please with a lovely walk in, fully tiled shower with a removable hand-held shower head for your convenience. High end professional shampoo, conditioner and body wash, fluffy white towels and hairdryer are provided as well as a diffuser with essential oils to set your desired relaxing fragrance. The bathroom also comes fully equipped with a washer and dryer for the convenience of your stay.

Stepping out of the cottage through the sliding doors, you are greeted by the very spacious deck, the ideal spot for relaxing and sharing moments with family and friends. It provides ample seating with an 8 seat porcelain and wicker patio set, complimented by 2 wooden tamarack chairs, perfect for sunning along with a Weber BBQ for outdoor cooking.
Walking down the deck stairs you are greeted by the welcoming outdoor fire pit area which include 4 adirondack chairs offering a welcoming space to enjoy the stunning lake views and the private dock only steps away offering an additional 2 adirondack chairs.
If you wish to catch some shade on those sunny days, the spacious back deck has you covered. Lounge in the hammock or relax on another set of wooden tamarack chairs under the towering trees above. It's also the perfect spot for sipping coffee and taking in the sun's morning rays. Both decks are strung with string lights that add a magical touch to the ambiance.
The property is nestled on a 50x400' lot, providing plenty of green space in the backyard, perfect to enjoy lawn games.

| We had an absolutely amazing week at Park Place Cottage on Young Lake! The hosts truly go above and beyond, greeting guests with thoughtful gifts for the whole family. We enjoyed our days swimming, jumping off the dock, kayaking, watching the loons, and spotting turtles and fish. At night, we loved making s'mores and sitting by the campfire. We made amazing family memories that we will cherish forever!
If you are looking for a very comfortable, clean cottage in a peaceful setting, Park Place Cottage is a fantastic choice! We highly recommend it and would happily stay here again.

| We absolutely love Park Place, the cutest A-frame cottage on the private Young Lake! We stayed there last summer and again this year for a week, and we can't wait to return next year!
Kristen and Dave are the best hosts ever! The cottage is super bougie, with clean, hotel-quality sheets and towels that make you feel like royalty. The kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are a blast, and we had so much fun heading out to the floating dock. The lake is like a warm bath, and the tiny ducklings waddling around just melt your heart!
Morning coffee on the dock is my personal slice of serenity. It's the perfect mix of fun and peace—great for all ages! My boys, ages 9 and 12, jumped straight into the water as soon as we arrived. And the evenings Fires, s'mores, and incredible sunsets—what's not to love
Kristen and Dave really go the extra mile with a thoughtful welcome pack filled with goodies and even candles for my birthday! They left adorable stuffed animals for the boys, each with a personal note.
If you're looking for a fun, high-end cottage getaway, Park Place is the place to be! We'll definitely be back!

| After a 4 h drive, I arrived at PARK PLACE cottage at night. Once I turned in the driveway I saw this cozy cottage surounded by twinkling lights. I instantly felt my stress melt away knowing that this will be a great week. Once inside, the cottage was warmly decorated and stocked with everything you can imagine you need for the stay. It's a cottage meet chic hotel atmosphere. The owners have really thought about everything.
The next morning we go outside to discover the endless possibilities to enjoy the nature, dock, lake, kayaks,paddleboar, hammock, corn toss, BBQ.
One of the highlights was dinner on the patio with lakee view. Just stunning.
Dont think twice about booking. Just do it and you will love every minute.

| We stayed at this cottage for a week and had a wonderful experience. The owner was very responsive and made everything easy. The cottage was spotless and fully stocked with every amenity you could think of. The lake was quiet and perfect for swimming, and there were plenty of kayaks as well as a canoe to enjoy. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat that is family friendly.
