With over 30 windows, you can catch the stunning sunsets and enjoy the majesty and grandeur of Lake Manitoba, as well as the tranquility of a quiet beach scene, only 45 minutes from the perimeter of Winnipeg. Enjoy the walking labyrinth, a peaceful meal on the lakefront deck, or a kayak, paddle board, or swim without motorized lake traffic. Our shoreline is shallow, which is wonderful for young children and our lakeside community has a community playground a short walk away. Painted Sky Studio is an exceptional vacation home ideal for family vacations, reunions, and small yoga, meditation, business, and arts retreats. Commercial ice fishing, snowshoeing, and skidoo getaways on the SnoMan trail are popular in winter. The lake is 35 miles across here, resulting in a dark sky zone, where the constellations and night sky views are phenomenal. The air is fresh and there is a lovely beach for walking. We are on a bird migration route, nestled between a lake and a marsh, and have counted 56 different species of birds for birdwatchers. We have a unique second floor studio space for yoga, meditation, art-making, meetings or visiting. We have an enclosed back yard, so you can bring your house trained dogs.
